Mental health hasn’t featured very much in this general election campaign, especially when you consider how important it is to voters and how important an issue it is. But it will be a major area of concern for the new #government, whoever that may be on July 5. And a big question will be how we can improve access to treatment for service users. In the first part of our three-part #webinar series on mental health waiting times, we looked at the importance of accuracy in enabling Trusts to understand the extent of their waiting lists more clearly. In part 2, which will feature Acumentice’s Michael Watson and Joanna Hillier, Chief Clinical Information Officer at Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, the focus will be on how to manage waiting lists effectively, cutting the time it takes for people to be seen.
