Wow! How has it already been a year?! I’ll tell you what though… that old saying “time flies when you’re having fun” couldn’t be more true. Here’s what I’ve learned this past year working as a Social Media Specialist for MacroAir Fans 1️⃣ Company culture is key for longevity. We spend a large majority of our lives in the workplace, so the atmosphere makes a huge difference on your well-being. 2️⃣ We are ALL learning. Not a single person knows everything about their craft, but being around people who encourage growth, and discovery make all the difference. 3️⃣ It’s okay to make mistakes. This Monday, 4th March 2024, we woke up to more injuries, deaths, and loved ones holding onto the lifeless bodies of their children, feeling the agonizing helplessness. Three months into 2024, there seems to be nothing worthwhile celebrating. As we approach Ramadan, when our brothers and sisters are being killed by bombs and starvation, it's crucial to reflect on what is truly worth celebrating. In the context of workplace recognitions, celebrations, and awards, it's essential to consider how these events align with our values and humanity. Winning a trophy while choosing not to speak up for those who are suffering raises questions about the true meaning of success. How can we celebrate when we fail at the most basic aspect of being human—compassion and empathy for others?

Giddy up for a company offsite in the Rockies! Propeller had a blast at our offsite in Estes Park last weekend. It was the perfect opportunity to recharge and reconnect outside of work. Here are just a few of the benefits of company offsites: 🌲Improved communication and collaboration: When we're outside of our usual work environment, we're more open to new ideas and perspectives. This can lead to better communication and collaboration within the team. 🌲Increased trust and camaraderie: When we spend time together in a social setting, we get to know each other on a more personal level. This can help to build trust and camaraderie within the team. 🌲Boosted morale and productivity: Company offsites can be a lot of fun, and they can help to boost morale and productivity. When we're feeling happy and refreshed, we're more likely to be productive at work. Company offsites are so important for team building. They allow us to get to know each other more personally, build trust, and collaborate in new and creative ways. What do you do to build your team? Did you know today is Cycle to Work Day? 😄 🚲 Today is a day that encourages employees across the country to swap their cars for bicycles and take part in a healthier, more sustainable way to commute. The Cycle to Work scheme was established as a way of promoting healthier journeys to work whilst also reducing air pollution. According to the Cycle to Work Alliance more than 2 million commuters working for 40,000 employers have received a bike through the scheme. So how does the Cycle to Work Scheme work? It is a government backed initiative that allows employees to acquire cycling gear in a cost-effective way. Payment for the goods is deducted from their monthly salary instead of paying any upfront cost.
