AFRICA DOES'NT NEED "SUSTAINABLE" PREGNANCIES! This speech MUST be heard. In 28 minutes, President Yoweri Museveni gives a very clear picture of the situation in Africa, and comes up with down-to-earth directions for how Africa will move forward. He describes why one cannot talk about sustainable pregnancies and why in general there has been no real development in Africa in the last 60 years. There is a lack of focus on basic prerequisites for development and growth (i.e. transport, electricity and financing). He gives very clear examples of how Uganda should grow up in the value chains for e.g. coffee, iron and cotton. The Western world should understand that the future must NOT become a (bad) copy of the past. We MUST earn ourselves to become real partners with Africa. In June there are elections for the European Parliament and this speech should be heard by everyone who want to be elected to the parliament in Brussels, so that they can understand what needs to be done to create a good and developing neighborhood between the EU and Africa! #Africa #EU #ImpactByActon #Museveni #Development #DanishAfricaSociety

This is such an empowering message! It's crucial to hear positive reinforcement, particularly for young girls. In many cultures, women are often conditioned to prioritize niceness and kindness, sometimes leading to a lack of boundaries. Let's continue to support and uplift young girls, encouraging them to be strong and assertive individuals. #Empowerment #WomenSupportingWomen

https://lnkd.in/dm_wiRd9 Senegal’s new president Bassirou Diomaye Faye articulates the aspirations of a new generation of Africans vis-à-vis the meddling of their former colonial masters in African affairs. With access to such vast stores of natural and cultural resources at stake, one suspects that France will not listen. And neither will the US, Russia, China and many others who have a vested interest in ensuring that a corruptible African ruling class remains in power and the masses of our people remain impoverished in order that the extraction may continue unabated. There have always been coastal elites willing to sell their inland neighbours to the slave trade! In Southern Africa in the heritage sector a preoccupied and at times corrupt ruling class has constrained the emergence of local solutions setting us up for subjugation to foreign interests and what I have termed in the past, Digital Colonialism (at the Digital Africa conference in Cape Town, 2004). In this regard I watch with interest the forays of the Americans (Google Arts & Culture) and French (IQOQO) into our heritage sector to see how Neo-Colonial in nature they may turn out to be. In truth, however, granting such initiatives unfettered access to Africa’s rich heritage may be the only way it is globalised and celebrated across the World. But if that is true, it means the demise of the dream we and many other cultural and media entrepreneurs in Africa have had for decades - the dream to build a digital trade route from Africa to Africa and Africa to the World and so enable Africans to tell Africa’s story on our own terms without it being taken from us, traded by others and sold back to us in the Neo-Colonial loop. - my comments continue in a comment and two sub-comments below…

Investing in social and environmental #compliance is critical for maintaining the competitiveness of Bangladesh’s #garment sector. During a visit by the Danish Embassy, DBL Group showcased several initiatives aimed at reducing the environmental impact of production and improving working conditions, ranging from establishing care centres to investing in Danish solutions for wet processing, which saves time, energy and water in the production process. DBL has been part of the Partnership for Cleaner Textile (PACT) from the onset, a green partnership with IFC and BGMEA, which helps garment factories become sustainable through "green audits" and customized technological solutions. Denmark has funded PACT since 2018 with DKK 40 million and expects to support a third phase, currently under development. More and more companies have joined into the programme. Sustainable growth has begun in Bangladesh and Denmark is happy to be a partner in the process. #PartnersForChange #RMG #GreenTransition
H.E. Mr. Christian Brix Møller, Ambassador of Denmark to Bangladesh, visited DBL Group’s facilities on 31 January 2024. He was accompanied by Ole R. Justesen, Sector Counsellor, and Fahim Abrar, Associate Advisor, from the Embassy of Denmark in Bangladesh. M. A. Jabbar, Managing Director, and other senior officials from DBL Group attended to the delegation.

A country with the human and geographic capacity to contribute commodities like sorghum, millet, corn, cassava, ginger, tigernuts, rice, and tomatoes to global markets is facing food insecurity. From May to September, over 26 million Nigerians face food insecurity according to the Cadre Harmonize report. We are discussing how supporting smallholder farmers through investment in produce processing can reduce post-harvest losses (currently around 40% for many commodities). By incentivizing more farmers across all regions of Nigeria—not just the north—we can cut down food costs driven by transport and inadequate cold chains. Additionally, addressing information asymmetries is crucial. Rural farmers and traders often lack access to market information, understanding of price fluctuations, and knowledge of quality standards, which perpetuates poverty. By improving the free flow of information and educating citizens, the media can empower farmers to better navigate markets and drive economic growth.
Join us tomorrow at 12 p.m. EST for a discussion on the critical issue of food security and its profound impact on the global economy. We will be joined by the following panelists: • C.D. Glin: President, PepsiCo Foundation & Global Head of Social Impact, PepsiCo Inc. • Dr. Patrick Maluki: Chair, Dept. of Diplomacy and International Studies, University of Nairobi • Enene Ejembi (M.Litt, CKM): Executive Director, Verbatim Virtual Solutions, Nigeria • Robert Garverick: Deputy Assistant Secretary for Bureau of Economic and Business Affairs, U.S. Department of State • Queen Mother Nina Womack: Global Director of Humanitarian Services, African Diaspora Union To RSVP, visit: bit.ly/3KJRv8U.

#analysis: Pastor Ezekiel BREAKS Silence over Gen Z and Finance Bill June 27, 2024 https://lnkd.in/dyD5pag6 #perspective During the Berlin Conference of 1884-1885, participants resolved to hunt down Iberian Peninsular diaspora population, scattered Luos, eliminate and erase them from history. The Conference established the rule based order, "if it's yellow, let it mellow; if it's brown, flush it down." More so the targeting of Hebrew populations. In Kenya, Collective West built a lucrative business around the dehumanisation of Luos; Apr. 5, 2019 Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) operating in Nyanza region received Sh45 billion from donors last year, a report has revealed. https://lnkd.in/dHMFhumg "..The Elephant The Luo body is denigrated by the state, stripped of its life, and has been at the receiving end of state brutality, time and time again. To the State and its apologists, the Luo are a handful lot. #LuoMassacre.: John 15:26-27 26 “I will send you the Helper[a] from the Father. The Helper is the Spirit of truth[b] who comes from the Father. All the nations turning to Russia have Luos (Iberian Peninsular diaspora population scattered in Great lakes). Russia is moving in to protect Hebrew, the way Putin did in Central African Republic, the Hebrew were being beheaded by Jihadist funded by Christian Zionists and Far right groups, determined to keep Iberian Exiles in displacement camps. The Spanish Inquisition was a judicial institution that lasted between 1478 and 1834. in practice, it resulted in consolidating power in the monarchy of the newly unified Spanish kingdom, ushering in the Culture of white supremacy. Its brutal methods led to widespread death and suffering, Inquisition never stopped, it is now dressed as democracy projects and security arrangements between majority Hamito-Arab- Bantu majority Africa, against Hebrew Israelite bloodline. The media will not mention that conflicts in Africa are anti semitic, with Western elites uncomfortable with the growing population of families of Black european heraldry. It is this very reason Collective West profile the Luo community :as dangerous and violent:, thus heavily invested in democracy and crisis mongering in regions Luos scattered. The Luo are several ethnically and linguistically related Nilo-semitic ethnic groups that inhabit an area ranging from Egypt and Sudan to South Sudan and Ethiopia, through Northern Uganda and eastern Congo (DRC), into western Kenya, and the Mara Region of Tanzania. As of 2019, the Luo population of Kenya was 5,066,966, making Kenya a territory with the largest concentration of Hebrew Israelites. The is the reason Collective West is obsessed with Kenya's governance, security and development policies, meddling allows hostile foreign influence operators to maintain a chokehold on the necks of Luos, which in regions Russia has a presence 'the deep state' that benefits from dehumanisation of Iberian Peninsular diaspora.

This speech from H.E Naledi Pandor, South Africa Minister of International Relations and Cooperation will be remembered as a pivotal moment when the salvation of our common humanity was prioritized over any other consideration. Despite incidents of medieval and endemic racism and negrophobia across the Arab world South Africa stands alone as the sole voice of reason that has actively taken steps to confront the mass murders occurring in Gaza and other regions. No other nation but South Africa has managed to bring an end to an era of impunity, advocating before the ICJ to avert an impending genocide live on demand and for a return to the drawing board to establish two states that can live side by side in peace. What could possibly be more commendable than that? Furthermore, the African Renaissance and the newly conceptualized political vision for Africa, which we have dubbed the Handy Africa to the World Framework (HAWF), might indeed become a tangible reality. It envisions an Africa capable of self-governance, support, and sustainability. Thanks to initiatives like these, spearheaded by visionary leaders such as Naledi Pandor, an empowered and self-sufficient Africa is not just a dream but an attainable future.
