As part of our ongoing commitment to mental health and well-being, the mental health team at Pharmaron recently organized a fantastic activity that was met with great enthusiasm and engagement. We hosted a sketching session where employees could unwind and tap into their creative side. All necessary supplies were provided, but we also encouraged participants to bring their own. This allowed everyone to join in and contribute to the supportive atmosphere. 🌟 It was incredible to see so many colleagues come together, share their artistic talents, and enjoy a relaxing, collaborative experience. Activities like these not only help reduce stress, but also foster a sense of community and connection within our workplace. 🌟 A huge thank you to everyone who participated and made this event such a success. Your creativity and positive energy are truly inspiring! Learn more about our commitment to employee well-being here: https://lnkd.in/dmvX3p5q #Pharmaron #MentalHealth #Wellbeing #EmployeeEngagement

Join us for our next virtual chemistry lecture on Thursday, July 4, 2024, at 9:15 am (China Standard Time). 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝘆𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀, 𝗗𝗶𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝘃𝗶𝗮 𝗨𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 Prof. Andy McNally Department of Chemistry Colorado State University Register for the webinar: https://lnkd.in/dKdJXAdc Pyridines and diazines are ubiquitous in pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals, yet there are limits in synthetic methods that can directly functionalize the C–H bonds in these structures. In this lecture, Prof. Andy McNally will show two distinct approaches, using phosphorus and ring-opened intermediates, that enable selective functionalization of these heterocycles into a range of valuable derivatives. A range of C–C and C–Heteroatom bond formations are viable, and the chemistry functions on structures typically encountered in drug discovery programs. Prof. McNally's lab has also performed mechanistic and computational studies of the regioselectivity of these reactions and the phosphorus ligand-coupling processes involved.
