PD Team--This is terrific. I know from personal discussions that CJADC2 is still a fairly significant challenge. My belief is that without a truly open architecture, CJADC2 will face the same problems as its predecessor (anyone remember Former Combat System (FCS) or SIAP? Help lead the DoD to an effective solution. Well done

The course focuses on the Military Decision-Making Process through a contracting lens. HII awarded $197 million contract to support joint force readiness HII announced that its Mission Technologies division was awarded a $197 million recompete task order contract to conduct research and development for the Joint Training Synthetic Environment (JTSE), which blends live and virtual training into a single synthetic environment that enables joint force readiness. Administered by the Joint Staff J7, Deputy Director of Joint Training, HII will develop, maintain, support and provide joint training in a synthetic environment across combatant commands, military service branches, federal agencies, academia, industry and multi-national partners. From the story below: "Allied Spirit has folded into the string of large-scale exercises under the umbrella of Steadfast Defender, the new name for Defender Europe. That is a January-to-May series of exercises across the continent designed to test NATO’s new defense plans. The overall program will involve 90,000 troops from 31 nations with more than 50 naval assets, 90 air platforms and 1,100 combat vehicles, according to the Pentagon’s website."
