While it is not our job to make the decision for them, our input is a vital part of the decision. As chiropractors our skill set is in evaluating the cranium for structural integrity, function and neurological implications. As we have said many times, evaluating the palate can give us a window into the entire cranium's function. Helping your patients understand the parameters that are important when determining the need for a tongue-tie or other revisions is part of the process.
