Researchers from the University of Pittsburgh and Tampere University, #Finland, have developed a tiny robot inspired by the aerial dance of maple seeds. This technology could revolutionize real-time environmental monitoring and delivery of small samples in challenging terrains. Their novel application uses light-activated smart material to control the gliding mode of an artificial maple seed.
