Australia’s gold production is set to surge, signalling a promising rebound with several major projects and developments on the horizon. Despite recently falling behind China and the Russian Federation in gold output, the latest figures from Australia’s Chief Economist are optimistic about our nation regaining its leading position. At PPS, we understand that water solutions and safety are pivotal in gold mining operations. Processing plants require vast amounts of water to extract gold efficiently and safely, using it for everything from mineral separation to mixing critical reagents like cyanide. We're excited to support this resurgence, ensuring these operations not only succeed but set the standard in industry safety and environmental responsibility. As the gold sector grows, so does our commitment to providing top-tier water management solutions that uphold our promise of excellence. #MiningAustralia #AustralianMining Small Caps World Gold Council https://lnkd.in/g2fawCCm

New CMRT and EMRT released! The Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI) has released updated versions of the Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (CMRT) and the Extended Minerals Reporting Template (EMRT). The CMRT, now at version 6.4, is a widely-used reporting tool that helps companies identify the sources of conflict minerals (tin, tantalum, tungsten, and gold) in their supply chains. The latest version includes minor updates and corrections, such as fixing reported bugs and errors, updating the highlighting on the 'Smelter Lists' tabs, and updating the Smelter Reference Lists. Additionally, the RMI has released EMRT version 1.3, which is an expanded version of the CMRT that covers a broader range of minerals beyond just the conflict minerals. The key changes in EMRT 1.3 include corrections to bugs and errors, updates to the highlighting on the Smelter List tabs, updates to the Smelter Reference List and Standard Smelter List, and the addition of a German translation. These updated templates are important tools for companies to ensure compliance with regulations around conflict minerals and to improve transparency in their supply chains. #RMI #CMRT #EMRT #ResponsibleSourcing

World Gold Production Since the beginning of the 19th century, the existence of new mines in the world production has changed a lot for economic and political reasons. Around 1800 gold production was up to 20 tons, in the middle of the 19th century it was 490-500 tons. In 1890 it was 490-500 tons and then before the First World War it was II. After World War I, it was 700 tons II to 1000 tons. However, in 1945, gold production had a large gap. At present, the world production is about 2500 tons. The distribution of production has changed significantly for more than a hundred years. The role of Europeans does not matter here. For example, France produces only 1.4 tons of gold per year. On the other hand, there is the Republic of South Africa. Thanks to the Witwatersrand mine, it plays an important role, supplying more than half of the world's production. The most important country in this respect is Russia, which has become a major producer since 1930. The Americas have long been a major producer. South America's actions of the 18th century, the third and fourth producers, Canada and the United States, which have no more than 4% of world gold production. After the discoveries in 1850 and 1886, Australia was one of the most important countries. Today, it can only o...

🌟 Gold Breaks the $2,700/oz Barrier: What Does This Mean for Producers? Gold reaching over $2,700/oz is a significant milestone for the precious metals industry, providing a major boost to cash flows for producers. As companies benefit from increased revenue, the pressure to replenish their reserves becomes more critical to sustain long-term production and capitalize on high prices. This is where projects like NorthIsle Copper and Gold’s North Island Project come into focus. Located in British Columbia, it stands as one of the largest copper-gold porphyries in Canada that is not currently owned by a major mining company. Boasting an indicated resource estimate of 3.1 billion lbs of copper and 6.9 million oz of gold, the project presents a compelling opportunity in the current market climate. As the world transitions to renewable energy and electrification, projects rich in both copper and gold, like NorthIsle's, are poised to play a vital role in securing future supply. 🚀 Stay tuned for more developments as NorthIsle continues to advance this exciting project!
