Why not use roller supports? 🤔🏗️ A common question we hear: “Can I use roller supports in PolyBeam?” 👉 The answer is simple: PolyBeam does not account for take normal force. Thereby making a roller support and a simple support equivalent. Why? To minimize the choices a user must make. What if your beam has a normal force? Don’t worry - We’ve got you covered! 👉 Use PolyColumn! 💡 PolyColumn allows you to work with both normal forces and biaxial bending. #PolyBeam #PolyColumn #EngineeringSoftware #ConstructionInnovation #StructuralEngineering

🌟 🌟🌟ZPG-300 Vibratory polishing machine is a kind of technology to minimize the wear of samples. It is suitable for preparing high quality polished surfaces on various materials, including the application of electron back scatter diffraction (EBSD). With the final polishing suspension, it can effectively remove the final thin deformed layer on the surface of the sample and improve the light reflectivity of the sample surface to obtain the perfect metallographic observation image. It is the ideal choice for final physical polishing. 💪 💪 💪

Ion beam polishing is a complementary polishing method used to further improve the polishing accuracy of glass workpieces after conventional polishing. First in a vacuum (1.33 Pa) conditions, the inert gas (argon, krypton, xenon, etc.) atoms using high-frequency or discharge method to make ions, and then accelerated with a voltage of 20 ~ 25kV, and then collided into the vacuum chamber located in the 1.33 × 10 Pa vacuum degree of the surface of the workpiece to be processed, the energy directly to the workpiece material atoms, so that it escapes from the surface and is removed. This method can make the workpiece to remove the thickness of 10 ~ 20μm, is typical of the physical collision method of polishing technology, under normal circumstances, the surface roughness of up to 0.01μm, high precision up to 0.6nm. #optical #polishing

Just some 𝘴𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘦 graphics to illustrate the basic principles behind DRY methods to measure envelope/geometric volume (or density) and skeletal/true volume (or density). Non-destructive, no liquids used, no coating samples with resin or wax. Now you have two numbers from which you can calculate POROSITY. Porous Material Characterization

Single slit, Double slit, Circular aperture, Thin wire, Helical Wire/Spring and Plane one-dimensional Diffracting Grating, six different diffraction elements were given to us to perform Diffraction with. Through diffraction we had to determine certain parameters of these components like the width of the slit, diameter of the aperture, thickness of the wire, spacing of the lines, etc.

Two Independent Mandrel Groups: While one group is dedicated to the impeccable polishing of the straight edge, the second focuses on the precise execution of both the small radiuses (upper and lower) in a single pass (Pencil-round), and on the perfect execution of all toroidal profiles that can be made with our Comet model. A Vertical Calibrator is placed at the beginning of the bench to regulate the thickness of the slab being processed. Followed by two roughing tools, used to remove the edges of the material. At this point we find the oscillating head complete with a first diamond spindle, with the possibility of performing all the functions of a toroidal machine. Following we find the block of fixed spindles also equipped with swinging, for the perfect polishing of the straight edge and at the end the block of the bevels. The bench widening bar on the front completes the composition making it possible to process very large pieces. The machinery can be completed with some options, such as the drip disc. Like all our machines, the COMET R3 is also equipped with a front bar to widen the support bench and be able to comfortably handle even very large slabs. The possibility of having a wide bench and other options make it the most complete and productive machine in our current fleet. #Bellani #GlobalEquipmentGroup #EdgePolishers #Stonemachinery #StoneFabrication

The curved glass micro hole plate. ultrasonic focusing,,,, This was simply made by the gravity and viscosity change at the elevated temperature. About 580C, metastable crystallines are formed and about 850, the stable crystallines are formed. You can use the mold for the special shapes. Below : 30um penerrated holes and channels.

Beams are designed to support transverse loads acting perpendicular to their longitudinal axis, these applied loads will bend, deflect or displace the beam depending on the geometry of the structure, shape, material properties, supports, load patterns, etc. The loads acting on supported beams will cause deformation that is usually expressed in terms of deflection. The deflection describes the change of the beam from its original neutral surface (before loading) to its neutral surface after the deformation has occurred. There are numerous methods to compute beam deflections which results in well-known formulas used in the industry. The following document summarizes the formulas to determine the slope at the endpoint of a beam, maximum deflection, and deflection at any section of the beam. 🏅❤️Subscribe https://lnkd.in/dKD5JDrY 🌟✨

1moDet er vist stadig ikke helt korrekt argumentation for jeres statiske system vs resultater. Ærligt bør i nok sørge for at i både afbilleder og redegør for statisk sammenhæng.
