Crowds draw crowds! Trade Shows can be difficult to navigate and standing out in a sea of booths can be a daunting task. Here are my top 5 tips to stand out: 1) Don’t sit or eat at your booth, it’s very uninviting and makes you less approachable! 2) Have good swag, people love free stuff. 3) Have an offer, not an ask. Everyone is being bombarded with sales pitches so try a giveaway or free samples to start a conversation. 4) SMILE! I can’t begin to tell you how many grumpy looking people I see at these events, it’s not a good look. 5) Make friends with the exhibitors around you. Often times you can help eachother out in a pinch and they will even send potential connections your way. Overall, just be kind and have fun! #tradeshow #tastyclean #CPG #tips in

Parties at the homeowner's expense. I think about all the education offered to the industry and how little education homeowners get. Makes sense to me why CAI opposes bills like HB24-1078. Homeowners better wake up. Las Vegas has some serious issues and rather than putting all the blame on homeowners like the industry does we should be taking a closer look at what's really going on and realizing that homeowners are not the problem. Management companies and the HOA lawyers that protect them and the associations are the ones we should be scrutinizing. It's the management companies and the lawyers who in my opinion, are more like hired muscle for a crime syndicate than legit business entity. HOA's should be about community. Not about profits. Laws need to change to make management companies accountable. It should not take 65 hours to find any documents that a homeowner requests. Thats not a homeowner issue, it shows incompetence by the management companies and a lack of organization. The problem is that this industry has no standards. Management companies do what they want and how they want to do it with little to no consequences for their actions.
