🔋 Driving Innovation: Anteo X demonstrates 26% improvement in high silicon anode performance We're excited to share the latest results from ongoing development work from a silicon anode optimisation project. With the incorporation of Anteo X, our high-performing binder additive, into a customer's high silicon anode, we achieved a greater than 26% (200+ cycles) improvement in battery performance. The performance of the anode exceeded the 1,000 charge and discharge cycle mark while maintaining over 70% of the cell’s starting capacity — a significant improvement on the customer’s existing benchmark! This technical milestone underscores AnteoTech’s commitment to the next generation of high-energy silicon-dominant anodes by delivering tangible advancements in battery technology. Today we have announced that we have entered into an agreement with MCK Tech Co. Ltd (South Korea), a move that marks a crucial step in our ongoing turnaround strategy. In line with our commitment to focus on core businesses, we are delighted to share that we have successfully concluded the sale of our Korean Plant, encompassing the assets of the CVD graphene business carried out by our subsidiary, Versarien Korea Limited (VKL), to MCK Tech for a total consideration of £604,000. This transaction aligns with our vision to be a manufacturing-light business in the UK, emphasising our focus on strategic collaborations and intellectual property licensing. Simultaneously, we have granted MCK Tech an exclusive license for the use of five patents owned by Versarien® plc, as part of our continuous efforts to monetise intellectual property. This agreement spans an initial period of five years, showcasing our commitment to fostering long-term partnerships with key industry players. We are excited about the collaborative efforts ahead, as MCK Tech, led by CEO Seungmin Cho, brings a wealth of experience and innovation to the table. Dr. Cho's background as a pioneer in CVD graphene and MCK Tech's focus on healthcare applications make them an ideal partner for our shared vision of advancing graphene technologies. Nano Dimension’s Q124 results confirmed that the Reshaping Nano initiative has made good progress, with significant reductions in operating costs and improved adjusted gross margins materially reducing the adjusted EBITDA loss and cash burn compared to Q123. The company bought back $52m worth of shares in Q124 and expects to continue to do so while the shares trade at a discount to book value. Pitt Street Research publishes its latest update on Weebit Nano Ltd which in FY24 has reported A$1m in revenues from license deals. These occurred as the company hit technology transfer milestones with commercial partners SkyWater and DB HiTek. The company has also reported holding $62.8m in cash, providing it with more than 2 years of financial runway at current cash burn rates. CEO Coby Hanoch has also indicated that the company hopes to sign more commercial deals in calendar year 2024, i.e. within the next 4 months. The company is currently in discussions with more than a dozen IDM’s, foundries and product companies, and management expects 1 or 2 of those deals to come through soon. Of course, the timing of when new deals come through is near-impossible to predict, but we believe investors need to focus on the breadth of conversations Weebit Nano is currently having with prospects across the semiconductor spectrum. We reiterate our valuation of Weebit Nano of A$9.56 per share outlined in our June 2023 report.
