Have you ever hired someone who looked perfect on paper... but turned out to be a disaster on the job? 👀 Here’s how I spot the real deal: We’ve all been there—stellar résumé, great interview... But then it’s like nails on a chalkboard when they start working! Which is why at The Virtual Hub Ltd, we flipped the script on recruiting. We don’t hire for clients. We hire for ourselves. Our process? Interviews come last! Before we even look at a candidate’s résumé, they go through an extensive testing funnel that focuses on traits (not just skills). And when they pass, they don’t jump straight into client work! Instead, they dive into our rigorous training program, where we observe everything: → How they learn → How they show up → How they communicate → How they execute processes This method ensures we bring in team members who truly align with what we value. If you want to know more about what sets our hiring process apart, tune in to this episode of the Secret Ops Podcast! 🎙️💡 I share with Ariana Cofone how we find the right talent (and make sure they excel with us!) Listen in to discover why this strategy has been so impactful for us—and how it could reshape the way you build your team! 🚀 #futureofwork #podcast #training #recruiting

This is a great podcast episode whether you’re applying or hiring. I especially like this quote: “At the end of the day, an interview is a set of questions about you, so the key to interviewing better is knowing yourself better.” I believe I’m usually a harmonizer - and knowing that will help me in future interviews (on both sides of the table) to watch out for being overly agreeable and humble. Take a listen. What is your natural interview style? https://lnkd.in/eaNVCdNg

What type of interviewer are you? There are 4 styles... Which one are you? The podcast breaks our styles into 4 primary groups: 1. Charmer - Want to be liked 2. Challenger - Want to be heard 3. Examiner - Get it Right 4. Harmonizer - Want to adapt I love this episode as it breaks it down as to what type of an interviewer you might be and how this is so valuable to learn (for both interviewee and the interviewer). I have seen the lack of awareness of this has led to several misunderstandings and inappropriate "judgements" on both sides - the interviewee or the interviewer. This seems to be very similar to "DISC" profiles. Thank you Steven Simpson for sharing this with me. Have you seen or experienced such difference in styles? Do you see yourself as one of these? #interviews #yourinterviewstyle
