Remembering 9/11: A Day of Reflection, Resilience, and Unity Today, we pause to honor the memory of those we lost on September 11, 2001. It was a day that changed our nation forever, but it also showed us the incredible strength and resilience of the human spirit. From the first responders who rushed in with courage, to the everyday heroes who stood up in the face of tragedy, we remember their bravery and sacrifice. At Ardizzone Enterprises, we reflect on the importance of community and unity. As we continue to work in building and renovating homes for families, we are reminded of how crucial it is to come together, support one another, and rebuild in times of need. Today, we not only remember the past, but we also renew our commitment to creating stronger, more connected communities. Let’s take a moment to reflect, support one another, and never forget the lessons of compassion and resilience that emerged from this day. #NeverForget #911Anniversary #UnitedWeStand #CommunityResilience

Co.mmunity part 3: Building Where You're Planted My mom and I relocated to Charlotte when I was 21 years old. I had just graduated college and was awaiting my Peace Corps assignment. For me, this was supposed to be a pit stop, never a place I thought I'd land. But then I fell in love with the city, I joined a cause I cared a lot about. I moved around the city and knew I'd found my home away from home. When I chose to move back to Charlotte and stay for good, I promised myself that I wouldn't become another gentrifier renaming areas and claiming them to be my own. I promised I'd invest, learn, and do what I could to do great things that mattered to those who felt like their city was moving without them. Building where you're planted (or plant yourself) takes courage because rather than starting anew you must find your fit to grow with something that's already flowing. You ask the hard questions and collaborate to build a vision that could already be in motion. It's not about taking ownership but humbling yourself to collaborate and building upon the legacy that was created long before your arrival with the hopes of leaving the community stronger than you found it. Questions for reflection: What communities have I entered and how can I contribute to them as they are now? What skills/talents/connections can I offer to leave it better than I found it?

Yes, we can change the world together. By choosing to act and committing to our efforts, we have the power to transform the lives of the most vulnerable—unaccompanied children, women facing violence, and children affected by war. Imagine providing a safe haven and education to unaccompanied children, helping them grow and integrate into society with confidence. Think of empowering women who have endured violence with the support systems they need, including legal aid, counseling, and economic opportunities, so they can rebuild their lives with dignity and strength. Picture the impact of focused rehabilitation in war-torn areas, where children can heal from their physical and emotional wounds and rediscover hope. With unwavering dedication and compassion, we can create a brighter, more hopeful future for all. Let's work together to make this vision a reality..

Walking through life with our armor on...all of us do from such an early age. Imagine society...our neighborhoods, schools, public spaces, libraries, gardens, creeks and roadways... All designed with the intention of make life more peaceful, vibrations of inspiration allowing us all to live a life without the armor...without the fear songs and the beating and clanking that comes along. Designing again for solutions and not solely for market competition? Imagine a World...where we design solutions as community coalitions...initiated and executed together...not asking for permission from the top down systems. Can we drop the rules of competition and start connecting our bridges together? I believe we can. In my second week of the Cabin co-hort, the mentors are inspiring and the fellow stewards also move with faith that we can. <3 Check out https://cabin.city To building new communities, one neighborhood at a time. <3

How much worse can it get before everyone realises that our governments are not serving us. There are no solutions to fix this unimaginable mess in the current system. We have to think out of the box, and do something we have never done before - unite and cooperate. Only through unity and cooperation, and collaboration, can we achieve prosperity and abundance for all. The ONE SMALL TOWN initiative has been building this structure since 2005. We are ready. We are doing it, for ourselves and our families and our communities. There is no other solution available. So, join us. It's a beautiful feeling. Become a seed of consciousness in your community. Start by becoming a member of ONE SMALL TOWN, and tell everyone. The next few months will be critical in laying a strong global foundation of connected, and united communities across the world. Www.onesmalltown.org In unity, Michael Tellinger.
