Massive Sulphide Mineralisation Confirmed at Yambat Project Highlights: - Multiple mineralised intervals with various intensity of mineralisation were intersected during the drilling program including: o  OVD021 – encountered a massive sulphide interval of 8.8 metres from 107.2 m within a broader net textured and disseminated sulphide zone along the longitude of the Oval prospect. American Rare Earths Limited (ASX:ARR, OTCQB:ARRNF) continues to uncover high-grade rare earth mineralisation at the Cowboy State Mine (CSM) area in Wyoming. The 2024 drill campaign, conducted by ARR’s wholly owned subsidiary, Wyoming Rare (USA) Inc, returned significant high-grade total rare earth oxides (TREO) within the western portion of the CSM deposit. Notable results include 172.4 metres at 3,716 parts per million (ppm) TREO, 51 metres at 3,390 ppm TREO and 30 metres at 2,203 ppm TREO. These assays are part of the first phase in the development of the larger Halleck Creek deposit, which holds a JORC-compliant resource of 2.34 billion tonnes containing 7.48 million tonnes of TREO. The campaign also marked the definition of the eastern boundary of the Red Mountain Pluton, with lower-grade results there. #LibertyStarUraniumandMetals Corp. (dba Liberty Star Minerals | LBSR: OTCQB) is making good progress with its first-ever drilling program at its flagship Hay Mountain property in southeast Arizona, the company shared in an update. The property, situated within a region known for significant porphyry copper-gold-moly geological structures, is being explored for commercially important metals. According to an interim field report, drilling at the second hole will continue from 1,500 feet to 2,000 feet. This decision is informed by observations and Portable X-ray Fluorescence (PXRF) readings indicating hydrothermal alteration and sulfides associated with veins in the core. These findings raise the possibility of a carbonate replacement deposit at depth, Liberty Star said in a statement. Liberty Star Uranium & Metals Corp. (OTC:LBSR), dba Liberty Star Minerals, said its drilling program at the Hay Mountain property has uncovered significant indicators of commercially valuable #metals, suggesting the potential for substantial #mineralization in the area. Drilling at the southeast Arizona property has indicated the potential presence of commercially important metals associated with porphyry copper-gold-moly geologic structures, according to the Tuscon-based company. At a depth exceeding 2000 feet, the company encountered a marble front along with an intense zone of propylitic alteration, both suggesting the existence of a substantial, hydrous intrusive body at depth. According to consulting geologist Jim Bryce, this alteration represents some of the most profound seen in over three decades of experience in the field, the company noted in a statement. CuFe Ltd (ASX:CUF) has made its first foray into the North Dam Project, 28 kilometres east of Kambalda, Western Australia, having completed a maiden reverse circulation (RC) drilling campaign in the area. The company is targeting #niobium, #RareEarth elements (REE) and #lithium resources across six priority target areas, defined by geological mapping and geochemical analysis, at two tenements: E15/1495 and M15/1841. The program consisted of 18 RC holes across 2,068 metres, with an average depth of 115 metres. The deepest hole reached 214 metres, which represents the most extensive and deepest drilling ever conducted at North Dam. The program is the first of its kind – previous exploration efforts in the area were limited to shallow gold drilling by former owners. via @miningcomau ‘High-grade’ results at W2 similar to Woodie Woodie Black Canyon Limited reports that it has intersected “high-grade” mineralisation at the W2 Prospect, with portable x-ray fluorescent (pXRF) analysis showing grade ranges of between 15% and 55% manganese. #BCA has completed a maiden reverse circulation drilling program at the W2 and KR2 prospects. W2 is part of the Wandanya Project within the Company’s flagship Balfour #Manganese Field in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, which hosts a resource of 314 million tonnes @ 10.5% for 33.1 million tonnes of contained manganese. Managing Director Brendan Cummins says with each hole drilled, Black Canyon begins to build a picture of the distribution, thickness and internal structure of the #mineralisation. “What was of particular interest was the consistency of the horizon over 240m strike and how we intersected mineralisation on the eastern-most holes on every line, so the mineralisation remains open to the north, south and east,” he says. The mineralisation is interpreted as fault related hydrothermal, stratabound manganese enrichment, which Black Canyon says represents a “significant new exploration model” on the eastern margin of the Oakover Basin. Yandal Resources Ltd (ASX:YRL) has identified new #gold exploration targets in an initial review of regional soil sampling from the northwest portion of the Ironstone Well-Barwidgee Gold Project in WA. The review shows strong evidence of gold extending beyond the limit of current drilling at the Oblique and Flushing Meadows prospects, while also providing new early-stage targets based on gold and pathfinder element results. QMines Limited (ASX:QML) has secured an additional tenement for the Mt Chalmers #Copper and #Gold Project in Queensland, simultaneously gaining access to a highly ranked versatile time-domain electromagnetic (VTEM) anomaly that sits within the newly acquired Striker tenement. The new VTEM anomaly is coincident with a copper-lead-zinc soil geochemical anomaly, offering strong evidence of mineralisation. Previous drilling at Striker generated results of up to 18 metres at 0.88% #zinc, including 6 metres at 1.63% zinc, 0.56% #lead and 11 g/t #silver. Historical results also included broader intersections of 45 metres at 0.48% zinc and 45 metres at 0.43% zinc, indicating potential for a sizable mineralised zone. “We have been waiting for this strategic tenement to become available for some time as it hosts intense sulphide mineralisation, with favourable geology and strong geochemical and geophysical support,” QMines executive chair Andrew Sparke said. Regional Exploration Work Identifies New Targets for Copper and Nickel Mineralisation While the Oval Cu-Ni Prospect exploration program is continuing the Company has recently received results from geophysical exploration programs, ground mapping, and sampling. The exploration has identified four additional exploration targets in the Yambat (Cu-Ni) Project.   The Oval Prospect drilling program totals 2,500m with approximately 1320m of this program now completed. Results for this program will be announced when assays come to hand.   The Geophysical Studies and subsequent groundproofing have confirmed:   Indication of broader magmatic copper-nickel system beyond Oval Cu-Ni prospect with:  a new outcrop of mineralized gabbro containing sulfide blebs being identified at the South Zone, 1.7km to Southeast from Oval mineralized gabbro. - An expansion of the previously reported Ni-Cu mineralized gabbro outcrop at the North Oval area. This expansion indicates a significant NW extension of the main Oval Ni-Cu mineralization.   A discovery of copper-gold mineralization in the northern part of the tenement was made following detailed mapping of an area 7 kms to the north of the Oval Prospect. The newly named Copper Ridge is a different style of mineralization characterized by:    -  A 30m wide by 400m long zone of silicified, magnetite-altered andesite with significant disseminated chalcopyrite mineralization has been delineated before dipping under alluvial cover to the east.   Assay results from rock chip sampling yielded maximum values of 0.29 ppm Au, 0.4% Cu, and greater than 15% Fe. #ABM #Copper #CopperMining #NickelMining #Nickel #BatteryMetals #CriticalMinerals Read the announcement here: https://bit.ly/3WPZ7hb
