I just returned home this weekend from a big regional area meet in Pensacola and saw this. Wanted to share it as this is the beauty of cross country and how it would apply if we used that same spirit in our work and personal lives. These are not my words but as a 7+ year cross country mom, they very well could be. —- What if we lived life like we were all in a cross country meet? What if we watched other people and recognized that we're all just trying to get across the finish line? What if we understood that some people are running as hard as they can but battling illnesses, invisible injuries, and internal struggles? Every step is hard, but they're trying not to quit. What if we cheered for everyone even if they weren't on our team? What if we realized just finishing something, no matter how long it took us or how messy it seemed, was enough? In fact, it was a win. What if we used every race as an opportunity to learn more about ourselves and how we could use each other for support, inspiration, and help to reach our goals? What if we cheered loud for the winner, but even louder for the one who comes in after because they accomplished something great, too? In a world that tells us it's about me, me, me, what if we started living to support everyone brave enough to be in the race? What if we started treating our lives like we were all in the same cross country meet? What a beautiful world that would be. Love hard. Whitney Fleming Writes

"It depends on the work, but for deep focus, you can find ocean sounds filling the silence." 3️⃣ Favorite team activity: "While I love a nice team dinner, I enjoy going to a good sporting event with the team and love when we can get together for paint night." 4️⃣ Best way to destress after work/favorite hobby: "I love reading or heading out for a drive to the beach. 📣 Dublin Hospitality Sector Unites: Time for Change! As costs soar and businesses across Dublin struggle to keep their doors open, we at Yamamori are joining the call for action. Rising operational expenses are hitting the hospitality sector, a cornerstone of Dublin's vibrant culture. On October 15th, we’re standing with our fellow businesses to protest against unsustainable costs that are putting the future of our industry at risk. 🔴 What’s Happening? Skyrocketing costs—rent, energy, supplies—are making it increasingly difficult for restaurants, bars, and cafes to stay afloat. These pressures not only threaten jobs but also impact the amazing experiences we love bringing to our community. 💡 Why It Matters For local businesses like us, the current cost environment isn’t just a challenge—it’s unsustainable. Every menu you enjoy, every event you attend, and every meal we prepare depends on the balance between quality and affordability. Without relief, we may lose the heart of what makes Dublin’s hospitality scene so special. 🙌 Support Your Local! We’re asking our community to stand with us. This isn’t just about businesses—it’s about protecting the livelihoods of thousands of workers and ensuring that Dublin’s hospitality scene thrives. If you care about your favourite local spots, join us in raising your voice. Let’s work together for a sustainable future. 🔗 More Info https://lnkd.in/eHu2zenG #SupportHospitality #DublinProtest #TimeForChange #YamamoriCares

Celebrating 2 years of making the marketing magic happen at Aha Media Group 💖 People often ask me how I went from owning a coffee shop and bakery to healthcare marketing. A lot of the things I do in life are strategic. But most of them (often the best of them) just sort of naturally evolve from the people I meet and interests I pursue. Story time! I started growing my coffee business the year Facebook first allowed non-college students to join. There were no business accounts back then. I built a social media strategy around The SweetSpot having a personal profile. First name: The SweetSpot Last name: Coffee Shop Relationship status: It’s complicated I became obsessed with social media marketing. Growing followers 100x and revenue 10x over 10 years. When I graphed it out, the correlation was uncanny. A few years into that, I started teaching other small business owners how to use social media to build their brands. I wanted to know everything I could about social and local SEO so I could share it with others. So I gobbled up every resource I could. In 2016 I took a class on content marketing from Andy Crestodina and it opened my eyes to a world beyond local SEO and social. I have a tendency to go all in on something I’m interested in so … hello, new obsession! Content marketing! ✨ When I sold my business 4 years later, I knew I wanted to focus solely on marketing. After a couple of years working as a consultant across almost every industry you can imagine (no, seriously, I did everything from Pinterest marketing for Gulf Shores Tourism to web copy for industrial saw blade sharpeners), I wanted to find a role where I could learn more and focus on growing a brand. I reached back out to Andy, who is as generous with his time as he is with his expertise. He put me in touch with his marketing director, Amanda Gant, who met with me and said … “I know just the role for you”. A few days later I was interviewing with Ahava Leibtag and felt immediately and inexplicably “at home”. That feeling of just clicking into place. The next month, I had a new job. And my new obsessions are patient experience, health literacy, and AI in healthcare. … There’s a lot more to that story. Like how I was sitting by the pool in a campground in Palm Springs, CA when I met with Andy… Or how I did my Aha Media onboarding from the back of my RV as we drove through Oklahoma… But today I am focusing the power of: 1. Pursuing interests obsessively 2. Reaching out and building connections Both take a growth mindset and a little bit of bravery. And I would not be here today without them. … P.S. Big thanks to Andy and Amanda for your help in guiding me here.

Celebrate the 4th safely this year. Hand and eye injuries due to fireworks send people to the emergency room every year over the Independence Day Holiday. In order to ensure you can return to work without incident, follow these tips: 🧨Always light fireworks on the ground and never in your hands. 🧨Never put your face over fireworks when lighting them. 🧨Do not use fireworks when intoxicated or impaired. 🧨Follow the directions on packaging. 🧨Do not allow small children to use fireworks. Sparklers burn at 2,000° F and account for 25% of fireworks related emergency room visits. Your best bet is to leave it to the professionals. Search to find where there is a fireworks show in your community. Happy Independence Day! 🇺🇲
Wishing everyone a happy and safe 4th of July! Our country turns 248 years old this Independence Day and hopefully everyone has an enjoyable holiday whether it's BBQing, lounging in the pool or at the beach, or spending time with friends and family watching fireworks. #IndependenceDay #4thofJuly #America #USA #AccentCompliance

We had our Christmas party in #Liverpool last Thursday and got to give props to the city of Liverpool - such a fab city and a brilliant night out. 💃 🎶 Feet still hurt from all the dancing, and voice just about back to normal from all the singing, but it was well worth it for a wonderful night with great people. It was amazing to see how much the team at Re:volve Real Estate has accomplished and delivered in just 18 months - can't wait for what's ahead - lots of exciting things are happening. 📈 #PropertyConsultants #AssetManagement #PropertyManagement
🎄 Re:volve Real Estate Christmas Party 2024 🎄 Last Thursday, our team paused the property grind to enjoy some much-deserved revelry for a night of laughter, good vibes, and a bit of reflection on an incredible 12 months. From sharing our highlights and milestones to (questionable) dance moves, it was a fantastic way to celebrate all we've achieved as a team this year. A huge thank you to everyone for bringing the energy and, most importantly, the festive spirit! 💫 Here’s to building on this momentum and making 2025 our best year yet! 🥂 #ChristmasParty #ReflectionAndCelebration #PropertyManagement #AssetManagement #PropertyConsultants
