Grant opportunity: Communities Innovation Fund: Responses to Social Isolation and Loneliness Open now; Closes 27/04/24; up to $50,000; Qld The Fund has a focus on funding initiatives that respond to social isolation and loneliness amongst culturally and linguistically diverse people and communities. This recognises the unique experiences of people from migrant and refugee backgrounds, people seeking asylum, and Australian South Sea Islander people which may place them at increased risk of social isolation and loneliness. Eligible organisations can apply for grants to support innovative projects such as events, courses, and other ways of creating connection and professional development opportunities which respond to social isolation and loneliness amongst culturally and linguistically diverse people and communities in Queensland. They encourage proposals for services that will be delivered in regional and remote Queensland. Eligibility: To be eligible to apply for this grant, your organisation must be incorporated and can be: -not-for-profit organisation -company limited by guarantee -cooperative -incorporated association -university or research organisation -a profit-for-purpose company -Local Government -unincorporated community group or user-led group that is auspiced by an eligible entity Tip: browse through the Ending Loneliness Together information - the link is on the grant webpage!
