It might sound odd at first, but think about it. How often have you had conversations with someone seeking advice, only to find they consulted everyone in their circle except you? This isn’t about feeling obligated to share your knowledge or feeling hurt if someone doesn’t ask for your input. Instead, it’s intriguing how people often overlook the possibility that you could be a valuable resource. I’ve been in situations where I volunteered information, and the person was surprised that I had relevant insights. I didn’t take it personally or as an insult that they hadn’t approached me initially. It could be that they didn’t realize I had the expertise or they felt it might be a burden to ask. Sometimes people choose to seek guidance elsewhere, even when you’re nearby and capable of helping. This choice might be due to a lack of awareness of your abilities or a desire to avoid imposing on you. If you find yourself overlooked despite being able to help, remember: it’s more about their perceptions and less about your worth. Don’t take it personally if they don’t turn to you for assistance. Their choice reflects their perspective, not your value.

I'm a freelancer. But I have seen some bad, sad things in offices with full time employees and their "bosses." Have you ever done work for a company who had a CEO/CSO/CFO/COO who was abusive, toxic, and screamed at employees? Actually raised their voice, screamed, bullied, etc? I have seen this at all kinds of operations, but some non-profit organizations. Aimed at helping the most vulnerable in the community. 👀 Usually men, screaming at women. Could you imagine if ALL of the employees of every company run by someone like this...started to share / speak up / tag / call out / these people? Maybe that would help. In this age of call out culture, maybe this would bring justice to really hard working folks who have to go to work in these toxic environments. Call 'em out. Time's up.

PETA, it's a fucking job - if someone is qualified, you hire them. As far as I know, it's illegal to deny someone a job based on diet - some people literally can't live without eating meat, I've met some who were hospitalized trying to go vegetarian. On top of that, this was posted on a work-from-home job board, yet you talk about having to drive places (but don't mention where). I'll just keep being an ethical vegetarian / vegan on my own, I don't need a fucking "non-profit organization" playing dietary police - that's my business. The U.S. needs to get a fucking clue about how to treat people. The entire country is simply run by corporations (including corporations claiming to be non-profit do-gooders). It took leaving the country to realize most of this planet actually treats you like a human - it's just the U.S. that is utterly fucked up. In Europe, governments actually protect its citizens instead of its corporations [gasp] - like it was elected to do.
