I had the pleasure to sit down with my partner Sacha "Shah" Saint-Cyr and had a conversation about WishLay our donation software. WishLay providers the option for leaders of social good to receive cash donations. Some people assume only nonprofit organization can only receive cash donations but there for-profit companies also seek out cash donations. WishLay allows for-profit and nonprofits to share their mission, receive cash donations and create a wishlist. Why the name WishLay? We combine the words Wishlist and Layaway. The unique registry option within this platform allows users to create a wishlist of products and the community helps funds these items. Once the items are funded, WishLay sends the items to the Wishlist creator. With this model, the donors know exactly how they are supporting. Nonprofit leaders - You can stop fundraising for the moment. Do this instead… Plan a 2024 generosity experience for your donors. Gen-er-os-i-ty (noun)   💡 Abundance  💡 freedom in spirit or act - especially : readiness in giving So says Merriam-Webster. And, according to Wikipedia:  Generosity often encompasses acts of charity, in which people give without expecting anything in return. This can involve offering time, assets, or talents to assist those in need… People can experience joy and satisfaction when they positively affect someone's life through acts of generosity.
