Another #prihoda innovation. Depending on the circumstances air that's travelling at speed down a duct can continue that direction of travel AFTER it leaves the duct. That's known as deflection, and we can calculate this accurately. Our pockets take some supply air and supply this in the opposite direction to counter this effect and 'straighten' the air. The supply air will lose some energy here and so it's important to correct the distance we calculate the air will travel. Fabric pockets correct the deflection that sometimes affect the #air that flows through perforations. The air from the fabric pockets is angled to counteract the deflection from the preceding row of perforations, aligning it so that the air can flow normally from the fabric duct. #fabricduct #hvac #textileducts

Prihoda's directional #microperforations are uniquely able to gently #diffuse the air through only a portion of the circumference of the fabric duct, allowing better air mixing and control. Supplying cold air through the weave of a fabric duct can cause an unpleasant column of cold air beneath the duct.
