Would you buy a Tesla with 140,000 miles if the price was good? Many car people say no, but this data may surprise you. We analyzed the highest 100 odometers in the Recurrent community, including EVs with over 300,000 miles on the odometer. The average Range Score of these vehicles is 86. On average, these cars still get 86% of their range when new. Do they all have new batteries? No, only 16% of these cars have reported (or are suspected of having) a battery replacement.

I guess the question remains- why is this so different than buying an ICE vehicle with 150k. It’s going to be old and worn. So if you want an old and warn car, consider it.
