Another classic that is reborn and growing in #trend. Yesterday was #Vermouth Day, and I honored it by preparing a couple to enjoy at home. According to a recent Drinks International Cocktail Report, which surveyed the world's top bars about their most popular classic #cocktails, 10 of their top 50 drinks include vermouth in some form. In the past three years, we have seen two major phenomena: the increase in daytime and early evening drinking occasions, and a growing consumer interest in low-ABV options for social occasions. Vermouth is a category with high potential in this arena. This resurgence is reinforced by the growing offer with better quality and variety. Vermouth is an alcoholic beverage categorized as a "fortified wine," with a composition based on a #wine fortified with a distillate and a mixture of herbs, including fundamentally #wormwood, which is the most important botanical component besides the wine, as well as flowers, roots, citrus peels, spices, and caramel, varying in profiles depending on the style.
