One of the consequences of remote hiring is the sheer volume of applicants for an open job. A Remote Account Executive role advertising a competitive salary can have over 1000 applicants within days 🤯 . It renders online applications practically useless for job seekers, and has negative effects on the employer side as well. 😡 Job seekers get lost in the shuffle and compound the problem by rage applying to as many open positions as possible. 😩 Internal hiring teams get overwhelmed, and can’t commit resources to passive candidate recruitment. The new expectation for talented sales reps is to go above and beyond. Cold call the hiring manager/ send a personalized video/ network with other AEs on the team and demonstrate deep knowledge of the product, industry and customer base. Just to get an interview. 🙃 ⌛ But this is a serious time commitment–one that a gainfully employed, high performing, highly qualified seller doesn’t necessarily have time for. These types of candidates need representation–so they can be matched with ideal companies and so that hiring managers don’t miss out. 👇 northlightstaff.com

What I see on LinkedIn everyday: I made of list of XX companies that hire remotely. We work remotely RemoteOk Flex Jobs Grow Remote. I want to ask this question once and for all : Has anyone ever got a remote job this way. There is honestly just 1 way to get a remote job. 1. Have a sizeable LinkedIn or Twitter following.( you need credibility) 2. DM CEO's or CTO's of small early stage companies that are remote in their country. Don't DM employees ( employees in remote companies are not incentivised to refer you). 3. In a small one paragraph pitch explain clearly why they should interview you and not the hundreds of other candidates that flood their DM every alternate day. Attaching below the LinkedIn message that got me my first remote job.

Sales Rep A: Hires a "virtual assistant", gives them no training, doesn't manage them, and then complains that hiring overseas team members doesn't work. Sales Rep B: Understand they are hiring a HUMAN from another country, not a robot. Clearly defines what success in the role looks like. Clearly outlines & documents the task(s) they want to be completed. Clearly defines a reporting cadence of deliverables & a way to track them so they don't micromanage. They end up loving overseas talent and crushing their competition. Hate to break it to you: If you have had bad experiences with overseas talent, most likely, it's a YOU problem.

5k to $12M ARR in 4 yrs (w/ Exit) 🔥 Scaling my 4+ B2B companies in the same way 🚀 Daily advice for entrepreneurs.
Hiring a virtual assistant changed my life! I built an 8-figure business which I exited to HOTH. I did this with no office or employees. Just a team of 30 VAs, 100% remote! I’ll admit, hiring my first VA wasn’t easy. I wasn’t sure who to hire or how. I wasn’t sure they’d do a good job. I am sure most of you think that too. But I’m glad I did end up hiring my first VA. Because after that I never looked back. I grew my business portfolio to 4+ businesses. And all of them are backed by a team of VAs. We also have helped other businesses hire VAs. 5000+ VAs have been hired with our help till now. But hey, why should you even hire a VA? Here are some great reasons why: - They are 100% remote. - They are very affordable. - They help you get your time back. - They take on the monotonous tasks. - They help you focus on business growth. - They keep growing as they work with you. It doesn’t matter if you’re: - A Founder - A Solopreneur - An Entrepreneur You need a VA to help you grow. It’s a proven process to success. A big thank you to all the VAs out there for always being a great support. ♻️ Repost this if you love working with VAs. P.S. I have helped businesses hire 5000+ VAs over the last 10+ years. DM me if you want some help.

Looking to land a remote job?🌍 Here's a secret: Most companies are still coming to grips with being 100% remote, and their hiring practices are outdated. Which gives you a massive opportunity. Make sure your resume and cover letter reflects strong communication skills, independence, and self-motivation. These are key traits hiring managers look for in remote positions. When it comes to the actual search, don't only rely on job boards. Take a more proactive approach, and: ✅ Research companies that have gone remote ✅ Network with professionals or peers in your desired field ✅ Follow remote job boards and remote-friendly companies on social media ✅ Reach out to recruiters or HR personnel on LinkedIn Lastly, don't forget that hiring managers are looking for someone who is a good cultural fit for their team as well. So, always be your authentic self in cover letters and during interviews. With these strategies, you'll be ahead of the competition and land your dream remote job in no time.

That kick you get when you score a new client or start working with a new client (for some wording can be important). I've been to all kinds of offices big and small. Some are special, most have a fusbol table, some a ping pong table and some an original Verstappen simulator. What will they think of next? Also a bar area is something that comes back often... I like it! A sit down lunch together with your colleagues made by a chef for hire. Some offices have a view and the views can be amazing. Is it necessary for good business? No, not really. If the position is hybrid or remote you work most of your time outside the office. I enjoy going to the office a couple of times a week and not just the view is something to consider. The vibe of the office and where it is located can be something to think about as well. If you are thinking about hiring a new sales, let me know?
