Some good news to end the term, and the academic year; my proposed chapter on ‘Themed Immersive Attractions: Play & Branding in Non-Fictional Spatial Transmedia Sites,’ has been accepted for the forthcoming Routledge Handbook of Immersive Arts & Media.

Dark with Excessive Bright is a production where the team got to unleash creative Access, integrating with the core content of the show. Wi-Fi networks that located audience in a promenade space using their own personal smartphone. Immersive Descriptive Audio written and performed with Devon Healey. This project was a giant leap. It stretched everyone’s understanding and challlenged preconceptions regarding the role and potential of Accessibility as a creative tool.
