There were many reasons I felt compelled to create an LLM to help forecast revenue. One of them is "next steps." As any rep who has worked with me can attest, I have pointed out an incorrect format for the next step in at least one deal during every single forecast call I've ever run. It's incredibly annoying and distracting, but it's absolutely necessary. Correctly formatting the next step brings clarity, fosters proper collaboration, and saves everyone time on the forecast call.
The proper format of a next step in CRM: Date of update: action needed to advance deal, expected date of completion. 𝗕𝗮𝗱 𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽: "call Joe next week fro update". 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽: 07/26/24: Joe shared that he will need to present a high-level summary to other key stakeholders. I will create an initial value framework using our discovery/demo notes and ask Joe to review it by Tuesday, July 30th.
