Published author, equality commentator, multi-world record setter, multi-award winner, entrepreneur, science maker, change maker and proven true leader, I am deilightful
This #PrideMonth, remember: Tolerating intolerance is hateful. For any trait, fluidity, tolerance and authentic #allyship are the epitome of Humanity. The more courageous integrity you can muster to stay true to your #PersonalIdentity, the more likely you are to reach your full potential and become a #deilightful being. Thus the more oppression you will face from those #dreadful beings who gave up all those things long ago. This system defines the very meaning of life, builds our individual personas, correlates our impact and legacy, and gives rise to #choice as a scientific construct.

Diving into the world of About Face Theatre's RE/GENERATION Studio was a game-changer for this musician who never imagined themselves directing a play. 🎵🎭 In December, I attended DND (Directors in Development), and let me tell you, those two hours were a spike of inspiration. 🌟 Immersed in the Unfamiliar: As someone whose comfort zone is usually found in music notes rather than script lines, the experience was unexpectedly transformative—never acted in a play? Check. Never read a play in a group? Double-check. Never thought about directing a play? Triple-check. Yet, there I was, feverishly taking notes, completely forgetting my background for a moment. 🤔 Reimagining Yourself: It got me thinking, who would you be if you could reimagine yourself for just two hours? 🤯 About Face Theatre provides you that space to explore, challenge, and redefine. 🎭 Spark Your Creativity: Their mission of advancing LGBTQ+ equity through community building, education, and performance is something I support. From groundbreaking artistic work that amplifies LGBTQIA+ voices to free workshops creating affirming environments, they're making waves in sparking social change. 🚀 My Challenge to You: Whether you're a seasoned theatre enthusiast or, like me, stepping into new territory, I encourage you to show up to an About Face Production. Discover a side of yourself you never knew existed, just as I did at DND. 🌈 Donate at the link below if you are looking for a year end place to support good work like AFT's. https://lnkd.in/gBMJX2_q

On this International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, and Transphobia, we revisit our resource, "Tackling Homophobia in Sport." Launched in 2021, in partnership with Fare network . The resource covers essential terminologies, facts, and issues related to queer rights. It also highlights the prevalence of homophobia in football and other sports, and the need to tackle it together. You can read the same here: https://lnkd.in/g_9DFaBF

America is at a critical juncture when it comes to LGBTQ safety and support. At GLAAD, we know that fair and accurate representation in media and journalism have a powerful and measurable effect on the lives of LGBTQ people. While support for LGBTQ equality has reached an all-time high, allyship must turn into action. This June, media, content creators, and corporate leaders must lead and respond to hate with undeterred support for the LGBTQ community, including LGBTQ employees, shareholders and consumers and protect all that the LGBTQ movement has accomplished. https://lnkd.in/eZt3ccS6

𝐌𝐲 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐬 𝐒𝐎 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 and hard*, I'm flexing my writing ✏ muscles! While I've always been confident in my speaking abilities when it comes to 🗣 communication, I'm now focused on honing my skills as a writer. My journey will involve mastering three key areas: 1️⃣ Executing the voice of The Biller Family Foundation 2️⃣ Telling compelling stories that resonate 3️⃣ Amplifying the voices of our partners, who are doing essential work Check out my latest story about "The Prom," where I explore how theatre can be a 𝘱𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘺𝘴𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘴𝘰𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦. ⬇😁 *Ps. I can do hard things! Been doing that...
Since its inception, our 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 has worked to harness the power of live theatre to bring different viewpoints together and spark meaningful dialogue. Reka J. Robinson, PMP © our Communications Manager had the joy of traveling to Littleton, a sister city of Denver, Colorado, to witness the regional premiere of "The Prom" by our partners at the Town Hall Arts Center (THAC). At its core "The Prom" tells the story of a same-sex couple in a small-town high school who wish to attend their prom together. This seemingly simple desire is met with significant opposition, shedding light on the discrimination and challenges faced by the LGBTQ+ community. The production’s portrayal of this couple’s struggles is profoundly moving, a portrait of courage and resilience required to challenge traditional and institutional norms. 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐧 "𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐦" and how it harnesses the power of theatre to promote inclusivity and spark essential dialogue, 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞: https://bit.ly/3zPBfkE

#Representation is important--even in video games. Interesting story about #LGBTQ representation in video games and data to support seeing more of that.
Questions are raised about how video games represent the LGBTQ community
