We had a great conversation yesterday with Alex Murphy, CEO of JobSync, during HRIT Connect. After the event, I asked him about a decision I'm working on at IRD, and he shared something that really stuck with me: "All bands sound different. There's no one right way to run your business."
This hit home for me because I’ve sometimes wondered if having an MBA or formal training would give me the "right" answer to every business challenge. But Alex's point reminded me that there’s often more room for creativity when you don’t rely too much on traditional methods.
This insight resonates with many of us in HR tech and tech in general. So many of us are self-taught, figuring things out as we go. And the more we connect with one another, the more we grow, learn, and feel less isolated in the process.
