As a consumer, I've never had as much optionality as I do now. Why stay loyal to one skincare brand, matcha brand, or probiotic brand when I could try a new one each time I ran out of product (and likely get a first order discount each time, too)? The brands that I return to over and over are the ones who not only make a great product, but who also invest in their relationship with me as a customer and make me feel special. It's hard for brands to do that at scale, though. That's where Retain, the newest suite of tools offered by Recharge, comes in. Retain enables brands to create experiences for their subscribers that are personalized based on purchasing behavior and preferences. It equips them with the tools and data to build tailored, dynamic rewards programs, intercept cancellations with a personalized touch, and a whole lot more. It's been a lot of fun to work on this launch since joining the Recharge team a couple months ago, and I'm excited to see the different ways brands put Retain to work.
