Global Footwear Designer & Performance Running Expert

This is an excellent article. Spot-on description of why sport and technology is important and how elite level performance can enhance the lives of all. When people ask me “why should I care about $500 marathon super shoes?” I always say “look around”. Everyone wears running shoes. Advances in foam, fit and performance at the top trickle down. Example? -Old people wear HOKA because the cushioning and stability engineered for ultra marathon trail athletes makes it comfortable for people with mobility issues. This is why I love high performance footwear design. If I can get one more person running, walking, enjoying sport or moving, I’m happy. --- I’m the owner of The Directive Collective footwear design consultancy. We make great footwear, not just great sketches. #design #footwear #footweardesign
