I observed that the era of star strikers has gone. No star striker, No desperation for goals, and the result is what I'm questioning. 2. Impact players have replaced the star strikers. 3. Some teams do have star strikers, but they are in the last leg of their careers. 4. Every big tournament used to produce a sensational player. It seems there's no sensation from Euro 2024. 5. Every time I watch this video, it gives me goosebumps. ***************************************** This is not a champions league or cup final; it was a championship semi-final play-off match between Watford and Leicester City in 2013. Leicester had 1:0 advantage at home and were trailing by 2:1 away (video below) before being awarded a soft penalty. If the penalty had gone in, they would have won by 3:2 on aggregate. However, there was a twist of fate within one minute.The penalty turned out to be a golden opportunity for the home team to launch a counterattack that helped them qualify for the finals. **************************************** Lesson: Every disappointment or setback is a blessing in disguise.
