In logistics, we have the phrases Continent Ports and Continent Line, which we generally use for sea loading. Many people do not know how to understand them. It means Northern Europe. I am writing examples of Continent Ports below.. Port of Rotterdam - Netherlands Port of Antwerp - Belgium Port of Hamburg - Germany Port of Bremen-Bremerhaven - Germany Felixstowe - England

For the Port of HaminaKotka, 2023 will go down in history as a time of great changes. There were considerable variations in transport volumes during the year, a significant port investment was completed, and there were successes in the international cruise traffic (a market that is, too, undergoing fundamental changes). We are slowly understanding that transporting by rail is more advantageous in all aspects, and ecologically speaking, it is much more profitable looking at carbon emissions rates.

Although not surprising but always worthwhile to know that Asia , particularly China is ‘THE’ region when it comes to International Trade and that any turbulence there will affect the world trade and economies!!

Interesting presentation by Laimonas Nekrosius from LTG Cargo at the European Silk Road Summit on the railway connections within the CEE & Baltic countries.
