Situation of the gold price in the Tanzanian local market Today the situation in the Tanzanian gold market is very different from what many buyers who set up an office for trading purpose imagine it to be. Licensed, local miners are certainly not desperate to sell for discounted prices nowadays. The governments official and daily released local market prices, which usually serve as a guideline, do not reflect the prices on ground. In reality the highest bider makes the price. As a result during the last weeks raw gold was sold in Dar Es Salaam via the official Mineral trading center NHC for LBMA spot +50$ premium leaving no margin for traders who do not intend to either hold or add value to the precious commodity. #Tanzania #gold #market

Far East Gold Ltd (ASX:FEG, OTC:FEGDF) managing director Shane Menere sits down with Proactive’s Jonathan Jackson to discuss additional high-grade gold assay results – including 20 metres at 7.57 g/t #gold from the Victory vein – in its maiden scout drilling program at the Woyla Copper Gold Project’s Aloe Rek prospect area. Key findings include a 20-metre intersection at 7.57 g/t gold from the Victory vein in hole ARD-009, which also contained 8.5 g/t #silver, yielding a 7.67 g/t gold equivalent. Within this section was 11 metres at 13.45 g/t gold and 13.68 g/t silver, and 3.3 metres at 31.64 g/t gold and 26.8 g/t silver. The project, known for its prospective undrilled copper-gold play, now boasts an increased strike length of 18.5 kilometres. The mineralisation remains open at depth and along strike to the south. Especially the Reko Diq project, which is a massive copper and gold project located on the Tethyan belt in #Pakistan. Reko Diq is forecast to produce up to 500,000oz of #gold and 450,000 tonnes of copper for the next 50 years. B2Gold Corp reports N$4.04bn in gold revenue for the first half of 2024 B2Gold Corp. recorded C$219.1 million (N$4.04 billion) in gold revenue for the six months ended 30 June 2024, with 99,790 ounces sold at an average price of C$2,195 per ounce at the Otjikoto Mine in Namibia. Ore milled totalled 1,677,126 tonnes, with a grade of 1.76 grams per tonne and a recovery rate of 98.5% during the half year period.
