As we count down the days until the 2024 Enrichment & Empowerment Women's Conference on healthy relationships, I encourage you to review the Book of Ruth. During your review, I beg you to ponder the characteristics of Ruth that we can all emulate to help improve our personal and professional relationships. For example: In which relationships did Ruth show COMPASSION? Did you find signs of her UNFAILING DEVOTION? In what ways was she RESPECTFUL? How did she exhibit HONESTY? Ruth was referred to as a VIRTUOUS WOMAN. What was it about her reputation and integrity that led to such characterization? As you ponder the characteristics of Ruth, ask yourself if you possess similar characteristics. If you are struggling in those areas, then most definitely you need to REGISTER NOW for the Women's Conference on February 24th. The Women's Conference is designed to ENRICH (improve or enhance the quality or value) and EMPOWER (give someone the authority or power to do something) women to live THE balanced life. REGISTER NOW AT EVENTBRITE. Tickets are selling fast. THE LAST DAY TO REGISTER IS MONDAY, FEBRURY 19TH. Celebrating Female Leaders Who Drive Change 🚀 This spring, we're highlighting five incredible women we've had the pleasure of working alongside who are driving positive change for organisations like Naturewatch Foundation, Samaritans, SuperAwesome, Dementia UK, and Sightsavers. These leaders are using their skills and passion to make a real difference in the world. 🌟 Meet Lynn Snyder, Community Systems Lead at SuperAwesome, who champions collaboration and challenging norms in the workplace. 💛 What inspires Lynn? "Younger people entering the workforce and pushing back against the status quo inspire me. They’ve shown us that collaboration works, that mental health matters, that leaders who prioritise relationships can make a huge difference, and that bottom lines can benefit from a more holistic approach." 💭 Lynn's guiding principle: "Don't believe everything you think." "It’s a reminder that we have to go through a lot of bad ideas before we find the gem, that credit is meaningless without it being shared, and that good ideas are their own reward...People do great work when they’re not feeling the need to constantly look over their own shoulder, and confidence is contagious." ➡️ You can follow Lynn Snyder and the Super Awesome team as they build a safer internet for the next generation. Check out their work by visiting their SuperAwesome LinkedIn page🙏

FULLY HUMAN ⚡️Human-Centred Development for Senior Female Leaders & Executive Teams⚡️Menopause @ Work Advocate⚡️LinkedIn Gender/Age Equity 'Top Voice' 22/23/24
Are you missing deep connection? A community of like-minded, same life stage women? A sense of support and belonging? If any (or all!) of these resonate then you’re not alone. This is a common experience for many women leaders in midlife. We’re surrounded by people, at work and at home, and at the same time we’re missing something…but we’re not sure what. This is part of what Turning Point aims to resolve: creating a community of senior women leaders who are deeply connected, encouraging and supporting each other, challenging and providing accountability, all built on a foundation of shared experience, both of the programme AND of the complexity of being a female leader in midlife. But don’t just take my word for it: “What I found crucial was doing Turning Point with a group of absolute kick-ass, extremely experienced, inspirational women who have become not only friends but confidants, sounding boards, cheerleaders, and huge support system. And NO egos!” “Sharing our thoughts and desires, talking through the processes of why we do what we do, and finding better mechanisms to cope and to grow and be the stronger, better more awake leaders we all want to be. This is why I feel like I am truly a different person.” “There were tears, there was honesty, and a lot of laughter. I’m absolutely certain that I will spend the rest of my long life hanging out with this amazing bunch.” Sound like something you could be a part of? APPLICATIONS CLOSE 18 December, or earlier if our cohort completes. LEARN MORE and request a 2025 programme brochure - https://lnkd.in/dWDrGHxv Image Credit: Leô

Flipping HR From a Cost Center to a Profit Center- EX Consultant, Culture Turnarounds-Strategic Workforce & HR Design- Entrepreneurial Leadership-Strategic Human Capital & Business Management Consultant
Do you feel like you are in constant search of something but you can't seem to articulate it into words for others or even yourself to understand? What if I told you that this is you in search of our inner child and conscious, becoming exhausted from the pretend "life's" play from being unauthentic to ourselves, feeling shame, guilt and doubt within almost everything we do both personally and professionally. Finding, being and staying true to who we are is the greatest gift we can give ourselves, our team, family and community. I am in competition with no one other than myself, however at times it can be harder to stay in touch with who I am, thanks to all the expectations, duties, roles and societal norms. Which is why my team and I are putting together another Women's EmpowHERment event with a profound intention, to help to make our community a better place by putting humans at the center of all that we do. Our goal for is to create a symphony of empowerment, encouragement, and enablement within a supportive environment. When it comes to finding ourselves we need a kaleidoscope of perspective to help us put the self puzzle together, otherwise we can feel quite isolated in our feelings and emotions. The interactive panelist discussion will highlight the following topics: Self-Discovery Journey Building a Kaleidoscope of Perspective to Uncover Self Embracing Self-Awareness to Lead an Authentic Life Shifting Our Mindset So mark you calendars for May 29th from 3:00-6:00, at the Deland House in Fairport, NY to find your tribe, to help you build your own social board of directors to start living the life you want and deserve. Embark on a journey of self-discovery, emerging as vibrant, empowered individuals ready to champion not only their own cause but that of others. We are dedicated to creating a space that fosters collaboration, celebrates diversity, and amplifies voices that are often silenced to push for positive change and disruption. Please be sure to register! https://lnkd.in/gATYHA3B #rochesterny #community #leadership #empowerment #leadup

7 reasons to book on our Women's Leadership Network (WLN) Community of Practice in Tackling sexual violence and harassment in FE 1. Take a preventative approach. You know you deal with individual cases robustly and with empathy but you are concerned about the rise of cases and want to raise awareness and take a more preventative approach. 2. Change attitudes. Cases of sexual harm are also about attitudes and culture and you think that needs to be challenged by everyone. 3. Involve colleagues and build allyship. You think this is too much for the safeguarding team to tackle alone and you want strategies to involve other colleagues and learners in taking action. 4. Get practical and operational ideas. You want to share ideas with colleagues across the sector that are practical and operational and will support you to deal with the challenges. 5. Off load and get support. This is hard work, sometimes we need space to think and discuss things. 6. Know you are not alone. We are all challenged by this. 7. Know you are doing a good job. You are probably doing great work already, come along and feel valued and share your ideas and experiences with others. https://lnkd.in/eV6SKfdK

Support isn’t a luxury; it's a necessity. Most of the women I work with, either as their coach or their organizational facilitator, love the work they’re doing – it's the space they’re doing it in that can be frustrating. Their frustration can stem from navigating office politics, managing microaggressions, feeling unheard or undermined, or feeling unsupported in their roles. They may know they have agency, but are too tired to reclaim it. They’re leaders working double time to complete the to-do lists, getting kids to where they need to be, trying to meet a tight project deadline while having back-to-back meetings, trying to care for a sick family member - or a combination of all of the above. I can hear it in their voices - that these challenges weigh them down, especially when all they’re trying to do is go after their goals and show up for the role they really want. Put yourself in any part of this story. Does any of it ring true? SOMETHING’S GOTTA TO GIVE. AND SOMETHING'S GOTTA GIVE BACK. Now picture yourself in a safe space surrounded by a community of women standing in your corner and lifting you up. These women all get it because they’re in it. AND I'M RIGHT THERE WITH YOU ALL. I know the power of a supportive community firsthand - women who have been there through so many of my work and personal challenges. They offer me wisdom, space, a listening ear, and the hard truths I need to hear. Let me say it again - support isn't a luxury; IT'S A NECESSITY. This is why #BRILLIANTWOMENMASTERMIND exists – to forge deep connections, share our experiences, confronting our realities, working together towards deep personal transformation, realizations, and outlooks. I invite the women leaders in my LinkedIn Community to #BeBrilliantTogether. JOIN ME IN NEW YORK, JUNE 13-14, TO GROW, TO LEARN, SHARE, AND WALK AWAY FEELING EMPOWERED TO LIVE YOUR LIFE DIFFERENTLY. https://lnkd.in/gqKANQ2j #BrilliantWomenMastermind #Empowerment #Inspiration #brilliantwomen #womenempowerment #brilliance #brilliantminds #resilientleadership #resilience #womenleaders #womenlead #womenwholead #womenwhoinspire #support #community
