Five years ago, my professional life was vastly different from what it is today. Back then, I was at the helm of one of the largest operating room departments in my state, immersed in the day-to-day challenges and triumphs of surgical care. It was a role that taught me the intricacies of healthcare delivery, patient care, and team management under high-pressure conditions. Each day brought new lessons in resilience and leadership.
Fast forward to today, and my career has taken a transformative leap into the realms of healthcare strategy and improvement discussions with top-ranked healthcare organizations. This shift was driven by my passion for enhancing healthcare delivery and making a broader impact on the industry.
Transitioning from managing bustling operating suites to strategizing with healthcare leaders wasn't simple. It required building on the deep knowledge and operational expertise I gained at the ground level and expanding it to understand the larger healthcare ecosystem. My focus shifted from the unique needs of surgical operations to the systemic challenges and opportunities in healthcare at a macro level.
Today, I find myself in rooms with thought leaders and innovators, discussing how we can collectively improve coordination across various departments and facilities to ensure a cohesive and efficient care delivery system. We explore methods to empower patients to take an active role in their care, fostering engagement and ownership of their health outcomes. Moreover, we strategize on creating robust support systems and organizational goals that address the unique needs of diverse populations, including specialized areas like maternal healthcare.
The journey from direct patient care to healthcare strategy has been exhilarating and deeply fulfilling. It underscores a key message that career growth often requires us to step out of our comfort zones and embrace broader perspectives. As I continue to engage with leaders and change-makers in the healthcare industry, I am reminded of the importance of our collective efforts in shaping a future where healthcare is more integrated, patient-focused, and inclusive.
Thank you, Denise Mihal, Drs. Pamela Oliver, & David Priest,MD,MPH,FIDSA for sharing your journey with others so we can make a larger impact in healthcare!

I hope you have had a review of your banking digital system wherein it was complained many times that your system generates the same message every time whenever a complaint is lodged even after giving the reference of previous complaints. Can your officers think how annoying it is when a persons complaint is not understood by your digital autogenerated mechanism and one gets the same reply 100 times. Do you think you need to review this lacunae existing in your system and the actual complaint remain unsorted for years together . Claiming the best customer service does not make you best the customers should say it. Even after the process of security mail generation . Complaint is still pending and then no one understands what reply has to be given to the customer for their satisfaction. Would you like to receive the trail mails to see the real working of your bank please share your email address or any other means of communication so that all of you become aware of your working that you claim to be the best .
It was great getting together with my senior leadership team in NYC to celebrate our current year results, but more importantly, to discuss our plan of attack for 2024 and beyond. We will continue to deepen our client relationships and accelerate our market share gains in each of our markets! #businessbanking#Dominate
