At S&B Herba Foods, we value our staff highly and are keen to celebrate individual accomplishments whenever we can! 🙌 Sandra came to the UK from Portugal many years ago and worked in a warehouse labelling cardboard boxes by hand. When she moved to S&B Herba Foods to work at our Liverpool Mill, she was the first woman to work on the factory floor in the Production Team, which meant learning the various machinery and equipment on site. A huge achievement! 👌 Sandra is a stand out employee and well respected member of the manufacturing team. She has a kind nature and lives our values daily with her "can-do" attitude, proactive and tenacious mindset and positivity. She has a sharp eye for detail and is a fast learner! No job is ever too big and her ideas are always delivered with a smile or a giggle! A true asset to our business!😁 Staff love her also for sharing her traditional Portuguese foods and baking treats! 🙌🍰 We asked Sandra for some words of her own: "When I started at S&B I was the first woman to work in production which made me very proud although I know it was difficult for my colleagues to get used to. I love to learn new skills so learning the various machinery and equipment on site at the Liverpool Mill was exciting. Some days my work isn’t easy, but I relish the challenges.
