Today marks a historic milestone for Pinehill - a whole year with ZERO injuries. This remarkable achievement sets us apart within the industry and is a testament to leadership with foresight, courage, and an unwavering commitment to change. We envisioned a zero-injury workplace, and we turned that vision into a reality. Our achievement is not simply about numbers; it's about every leader who rolled up their sleeves and led by example. It's about every team member who took personal accountability for not just their safety but the safety of their colleagues. We have instituted a culture where safety is synonymous with operational excellence. And now as we celebrate 365 days without even a paper cut, no FAI, no LTI, No TRI, let's pause to honor the hard work and tenacity that brought us here. We're not resting on these laurels; we're doubling down on our commitment to ensure that what was achieved through leadership becomes our enduring legacy. We are aiming now for two years injury-free, and we move forward with confidence because at Pinehill, safety has become our second nature, and excellence in safety is our continuous pursuit. To every member of the Pinehill, BHL, and wider AB-Inbev family, thank you for the support, for embracing the tough changes, for leading from the front, and for proving that leadership is about making what seems impossible, possible. We are Pinehill. We are safety. We are leaders. #PinehillSafety #ZeroInjuries #LeadershipInAction #SafetyExcellence #TeamCAC #BestBU #SafetyLegacy #InjuryFree

The best thing I ever did for my career early on… - When I first decided I wanted to work in construction as a career, I had little direction and really didn’t know my options. My parents encouraged me to go to college and get a degree, but then what? - I started calling contractors and figuring out my options. I called all the big dogs in our area and asked to speak with the owner/CEO and surpringly they all let me meet with them! I learned the different options available for where I wanted to live - The biggest takeaway was that all these people told me my options whether I got a degree or went to the school of hard knocks. They told me what they wanted me to focus on and what would make me valuable - Moral of the story? If you want to rise in rank and you don’t know the best path forward, go talk to the boss or owner of where you might want to be. If you’re eager, willing to learn, and know how to shut up and listen, I promise they’ll help you! - 📸: concrete driver washing out - #construction #bluecollar #leadership #business #dirtyanddriven

We’re rolling the clock back 11 years, to when Antis Roofing Founder & “Chief People Awakener”, Charles Antis invited every employee to his home and made them breakfast. To each employee he asked, “What’s important to you?” Then listened to their stories… One of those Employees was Pedro, who grew up on the plains of Central Mexico. He said, “Charles, when I was 8, at 3:30 every morning, I would be nudged by my father… He’d gently wake me, look me in the eyes and ask, “Hey, Pedro, will you work with me at the ranch today for a couple hours before you go to school (Both of them knowing he only has about six total years of education.)?” …Then Pedro, with his father holding his stare, would say, “Yes, Dad.” After hearing this story, something happened… A change in leadership where taking pause to listen better became a priority. We also started heavily investing in our people with things like emerging leader programs (taught by people from Latin American countries) teaching emotional intelligence, management skills, and interactive skills. Things we need to know in order to be heard! That’s why #everynailmatters and Antis! So, what is important to us at Antis? Keeping families Safe & Dry! What’s important to you?... #thankfulthursday This week, we would like to shout out an outstanding Pepper Construction Group Crew that leverages strong engagement and teamwork. This crew incorporates a growth mindset with the leadership of Foreman, Dan Beghtel, who consistently strives to incorporate an environment of trust and comradery. “I do not micromanage, but let the crew work together and have control in their own projects.” He showcases that involving each person helps them believe in the planning process and allows them to understand different roles and how they can help one another. As a crew of mostly new members, Nathan Millard, GSP,CHST,OHST,STSC,STS, Jason K Siefert, Justin Humphreys and the Pepper leadership team are consistently impressed with their efforts and openness. Nathan specifically stated, “I am thankful for their abilities to care about one another and speak up, so we can use our resources to help them when they need it.” We are grateful for the leadership and the environment Dan embodies, noting that “You lead best by being a part of the team and encouraging and actively seeking the input of your crew to help identify and resolve concerns.” This environment encourages crew members to have additional planning and hazard conversations throughout the day, feeling free to bring up or stop and address any issues as a team. Dan has found that by having a crew willing to address and tackle goals together, the end result is high-quality work, put in safely, and on time. Notice anything odd about this photo? Sandhill cranes are common in this area, but the way these four were behaving seemed off to me. Normally I would pass by them, but today I noticed something odd. Notice it yet? They all four have their heads down! No one was assigned to keep watch in case of danger. Like these sandhill cranes, we often keep our heads down. It is so easy to keep your eyes focused on the ground looking at what's right in front of you, focusing on what is most urgent. We do this as individuals, as families, and as organizations. We get so wrapped up in doing what is right in front of us, we forget why we were doing it in the first place. Right in front of us is a great big world! We just have to have the awareness to lift our heads and see it. -- Through Iron Warrior Coaching, I help humble, passionate, and purposeful family leaders as they strive to lift up their eyes to make Christ known in their homes and businesses. Curious to learn more? DM me—I would love to walk with you through this journey. ✨ #VisionaryLeadership #FamilyFirst #IronWarriorCoaching
