Today, I want to spotlight Tony Kelly—an extraordinary artist whose work recently grabbed my attention. His distinctive approach to photography fuses art with an audacious spirit, capturing more than just images; he captures narratives. “SAINT MORITZ” - In this series, Tony Kelly brings us a striking visual symphony where the vivid blues of the sky and snow create a backdrop for the unusual sight of a priest and nuns on skis. This contrast is nothing short of extraordinary, symbolizing the meeting of tradition with the boundlessness of modern expression. A video of this shoot found its way onto social media, amassing 1.1 million views, over 300,000 likes, and 17,000 shares on TikTok, testament to the magnetic pull of distinctive and creative artistry. This world is rich and diverse, always changing and developing. Let's look at some of the most interesting trends and artistic movements that are currently relevant in contemporary art. First, let's take a look into the world of modern realism. Artists in this direction strive to create works that are as close to reality as possible. They use craftsmanship and technical prowess to convey detail and emotion with outstanding precision. Abstract art always remains relevant. Artists of this movement play with shapes, colors and textures to create works that allow the viewer to perceive them in their own way. Contemporary photography is also in the spotlight. Photographers now often experiment with techniques and image processing to create works of art that go far beyond conventional photographs. Today, many artists are paying attention to environmental and social issues. They use art to express their concerns and inspire positive change in society. #Art #ArtisticExpression #CreativeExpression #VisualArt #FineArt #ContemporaryArt #ArtGallery #ArtInspiration #ArtisticJourney #ArtWorld #ArtisticCommunity #ArtisticProcess #ArtLovers #ArtLife #ArtisticCreation

Hype-O-Nomics 101 Podcast Host | Unconventional Brand Strategist (Data-Driven) | Building impactful brands, crafting data-backed brand experiences
From Cover Dreams to My Own Magazine: Unveiling Monochrome Ever dreamt of seeing your work or even your own Face on a magazine cover? ♀️ That was me, flipping through publications like Time and National Geographic, yearning for that spotlight. ✨ Instead of waiting, I decided to create my own platform: Monochrome, a magazine dedicated to exploring unconventional beauty and compositions through minimalistic monochromatic pieces. This project started as a way to envision my past photography projects (that I never posted because I always felt it fell short) on magazine covers, but it's grown into something much bigger. I've been developing all sorts of book and magazine layouts, and even had the gracious opportunity to redesign a Theatre practioners guide to Intergenerational Theatre through the Goethe Institute and Flying House. That experience wasn't the start of my design journey, but it definitely fueled the flame to keep growing my eye for design and branding. Now, I'm aiming for a 12-issue publication of Monochrome, with a potential bonus issue down the line! But in order to make this dream a reality, I do need to invest in more shoots because being a creative also means losing multiple hard drives with saved projects. Stay tuned for more updates on Monochrome's journey! In the meantime, I'd love to hear from you: What kind of unconventional beauty would you love to see featured? or even better yet, would you like to be a muse for a project? #artmagazine #unconventionalbeauty #artistsonlinkedin #creativity #magazinecover #newpublication #publicationdesign #graphicdesign

One of the most intriguing aspects of Victor Chibuike’s work is how he translates abstract, imaginative ideas into visual compositions that resonate with his audience. His process begins with three simple but powerful questions: "What, Why, and How." "What body of art do I want to birth into existence?" "Why is this work important? What is the essence of the work I’m creating, and how will the storytelling impact and inspire my audience?" "How will I execute my ideations, from costumes to curating models, photography, and set design?" He knows he’s captured the perfect shot when all the elements—costume, model, set design—come together to match the vision in his head. Black and white photography has a timeless quality that evokes nostalgia and authenticity. By showcasing historical images in black and white, a business website can create a sense of connection to the past and highlight the heritage and tradition of the company. They can elicit feelings of nostalgia, pride, and admiration among viewers, fostering a deeper connection to the business and its history. Unlike color photographs, black and white images have a timeless quality that transcends trends and fads. By incorporating black and white photos into the website, the business can convey a sense of permanence and endurance, highlighting its enduring legacy and lasting impact. Overall, black and white photos can play a crucial role in sharing the rich history of a business website by evoking nostalgia, storytelling, emotional impact, focusing on details, conveying timelessness, and maintaining consistency with branding. //visual @PETER DIMITROV

Continuation and conclusion of the report on my visit to the exhibition "Seeing Time in Colors" at the Centre Pompidou-Metz : 2. The Care of the Colors Section #12 reminds us that color fixation techniques appeared and evolved between the late 19th and early 20th centuries: there was Louis Duclos du Hauron's trichromy, Gabriel Lippmann's interferential method, and the Lumière brothers' autochromes... 🌈 This emergence of color provides a new perspective on the photographic recording of Reality. It allows archiving the planet in all its chromatic palette, as suggested by Albert Kahn's series in section #13. 🗺️ Thus, through the work of color in photography, artists have propelled this new visual medium into the academic field of Fine Arts. Section #14 highlights the Vivex process developed by Yevonde Middleton, whose aesthetic quality is demonstrated in the "Goddesses" series of 1935. 👩🎤 Section #15 also features numerous works by Saul Leiter, highlighting his ability to capture/construct life moments that become true pictorial compositions: the depth of field, the complexity of successive planes, and the colors of the Reality arranged within the frame of the lens like an impressionist painting, even though we are in a contemporary urban world. The same pictoriality emerges from the American photographers showcased in section #16, such as Joel Meyerowitz. 🖼️ Finally, the exhibition concludes with section #17 by questioning the reaction of painting to photography, which has continuously challenged it with a revolution in imagery. Sam Stourdzé concludes his reflective journey with Gerhard Richter's paintings which, not without a touch of derision, replicate the visual feats of photography through hyperrealistic metapicture (no less!), as a way of expressing that painting is not dead; as a manual work of the eye, it can indeed embrace the territory of photography and much more... 🧑🎨
