Today marks one month at Applikate. Not many are aware of what we're up to (yet) so here's my favorite brand elements that I'm working with 'behind the scenes.' 🎯 The name, Applikate, comes from the cartesian coordinate system: x-axis --> abscissa y-axis --> ordinate z-axis --> applicate 🟠 The orange color represents the bright eoisin and dapi dye that enables H&E staining / imaging. 📏 The slicing in our logo = the steps and slices of images (or z-stacks) accomplished by multiphoton microscopy. All highlight the ability of Applikate's technology to image intact tissue samples at great depths (we're talking 1000um+ deep) while reducing speed, cost, and waste. And eliminating wax and glass. PS. I was able to run some tissues in the lab last week and will share more about that soon. #aboutapplikate

That's equivalent to measuring over 320 million wells or reading 3.3 million 96-well plates! But that's not all: the Optic Module slider has moved back and forth more than 415,000 times. With the original components for the flash lamp, this reader has triggered an impressive 3.2 billion flashes which equals 553,106 flashes per day for nearly 16 years!! And despite time and wear and tear, this superhero is still in top form. That's true endurance and reliability of which we are very proud.
