Affirming the historic reality of Christ's resurrection, Paul is led to expand on the nature of the triune GOD. His teachingin 1 Cor. 15:24-28 can be summarised as follows; God the Father proposes, God the Son disposes, and God the Spirit empowers. In other words, the Father wills all things, the Son implements the will of the Father, and does so in the power of the Holy Spirit. Important practical lessons emerge!

In Romans 3:23, the Apostle Paul reminds us that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Everything in creation, from the majestic sun to the tiniest plant, reflects a different aspect of glory, each according to its created image. However, humanity holds a unique place in creation, fashioned in the image and likeness of God Himself. Despite the modern belief that humans are no different from animals, the Bible asserts otherwise. We were designed to bear God's image, set apart from the rest of creation. Yet, our disobedience, traced back to Adam, led to our fall from glory. Nevertheless, through faith in Jesus Christ, there's hope for restoration. By being born again of the Spirit of God, we regain that lost glory. This transformation isn't merely symbolic; it's a profound shift that enables us to once again partake in the divine nature of God Himself (See 2 Peter 1:4). Through Christ's obedience, we find justification, and by accepting His sacrifice, we're reborn into God's likeness, becoming partakers of His divine glory. Thus, the age-old question of "Where is God in our suffering?" finds its answer in His redemptive plan, seeking to draw us closer to Himself, that we may reflect His image more fully. Have you no wish for others to be saved? Then you are not saved yourself. Nothing is more needed among preachers today than having the courage to shake ourselves free from the trivialities that waste our time and strength, and resolve to continue steadfastly in prayer and in the ministry of the Word.” The first duty of the gospel preacher is to declare God’s law and to show the nature of sin.” James 5:14-16 – Is Any Sick Among You? James is addressing the sick in these passages. He gives clear instructions what we’re to do when we find ourselves in a bed of affliction. James 1:13-15 – The Battle Within In James 1:13-15, James deals with temptation. Where does temptation come from? What is the origin of evil? To accomplish anything in the natural or spiritual realm, we must engage in spiritual warfare. It’s time God’s people wage war against the enemy of the souls of mankind.

Championship Principle #258 Helmet of Salvation Ephesians 6:17: "Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God." 1 Thessalonians 5:8: "But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet." The "helmet of salvation," mentioned in Ephesians 6:17 and 1 Thessalonians 5:8, is a metaphor for the protection and assurance provided by salvation through Jesus Christ. Just as a physical helmet safeguards the head in battle, this spiritual helmet protects the believer's mind from doubts, fears, and negative thoughts that can undermine faith. It symbolizes the confidence and hope that come from knowing one's salvation is secure, encouraging believers to renew their minds through Scripture and prayer, maintain mental discipline, and trust in God's promises. By embracing this assurance, Christians can stand firm against spiritual challenges and remain steadfast in their faith. Championship Principles by Abraham Adeseye

Let’s End The Week Right Week 8 Transformation Challenge Scripture Reading Matthew 16:26: “And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul?” Reflection In our verse, Jesus is warning us to check and choose what we value carefully. The world says we need to take care of #1, that is, ourselves is we want to survive. But Jesus taught that servanthood, serving others as He demonstrated time and again. He also said, “So the last will be first, and the first last. For many are called, but few chosen.” (Matthew 20:16) If we want to prosper in this life with Heaven as our end, we need to choose Jesus and His will and way for our lives. Prayer and Contemplation The challenge is to take this word, meditate upon it, and listen to God in what He is saying for your life through it. 1. What things are you placing your values in? 2. Has the possession you are striving for brought peace, or have they been disappointing?
