## Beyond the Urgent: Why Timely Replies Keep Your Vendor Relationships Thriving: Let's face it, procurement inboxes can get overwhelming. But here's the secret: it's not just about responding when we need something from vendors. Strong relationships are built on two-way communication, and that means replying promptly even when the email isn't an immediate priority for us. Remember, a timely reply doesn't have to be an essay. A quick acknowledgement or letting them know when you'll have a more detailed response goes a long way. #SupplierRelationship#cips#cipsmena#vendorrelationship#worldofprocurement.

“Vendor Relationships” If you ask a vendor about me they will generally say - “She means Business”, “Strong minded” and you can’t “ Feed me BS”! One thing I’ve learned over the years is that great vendor relationships can last a career—and I really value that. But here’s the thing: I don’t just pay invoices without a second thought. I take time to look at the work that’s been done and the time & effort that went into the job. I will pull out the video for a time stamp! For me, everything is negotiable. I don’t expect a vendor to break policy for me, but I do expect open communication, respect, and results. If you’re one of my go-to vendors, I need you to know that I expect my voice and my expectation (Demand) to be respected. If I need something or if we don’t see eye to eye on something, we’ll talk it through but you will do your best to get it done. At the end of the day, it’s all about quality work, clear expectations, and mutual respect. #coffeetalkwithchavonne
