Naturally, we got to talking about stocks etc., and he says, "I invest in boring businesses." The world is full of hype. Everyone's got a good story, I prefer "Steady Eddie", accountant run, under the radar, out of the noise, chess player types, doing the right things one step at a time....I'm sure he'll scream, but I immediately thought of my friend, Shaun Heinrichs. U.S. Gold Corp. CEO George Bee joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share news the company has updated the work undertaken in 2023 and what lies ahead in a very busy 2024. The CK Gold Project occupied most of the company’s time and resources in 2023. Bee also told Proactive at CK the company evaluated the economic potential of the copper and gold resource and released the pre-feasibility study. That showed 1.01 million ounces of gold and 248 million pounds of copper reserves had robust economics with a net present value of $323 million and a 39.4% internal rate of return, both pre-tax, assuming a $1,625 and $3.25 gold and copper price, respectively. Bee says 2024 will be a pivotal year with the Company expecting to finalize a feasibility study and obtain permit approval for CK in the first half of the year. The final detailed engineering and project development can commence as soon as the latter part of 2024, with the potential to put the operation into production in 2026. During the interview, Waraich disclosed that the company has successfully entered into a binding term sheet to acquire Boroo Gold LLC, a renowned gold producer boasting an impressive average gold production of over 60,000 ounces annually. Furthermore, Boroo Gold's anticipated mine life extends beyond 2030, cementing its status as a significant asset. Waraich went on to explain that this strategic acquisition positions Steppe Gold as the leading gold producer in Mongolia. The company now has a near-term production target of an astounding 200,000 ounces per annum, which includes the committed ATO Gold Mine Phase 2 Expansion. As a result of this move, Steppe Gold's production is set to experience a substantial increase, soaring from 30,000 to 90,000 ounces per annum once the Proposed Transaction is finalized.
