Earlier this week, our People Team shared an insightful blog about Neurodiversity, and shared some really useful links and resources. Today, we hosted a Lunch & Learn where we discussed #neurodiversity and invited our colleagues to share their own experiences. It was inspiring and heart-warming to listen to our colleagues discuss their own journeys as neurodivergent individuals and their different perspectives. We also learned how neurodivergent individuals benefit the workplace, tips for supporting neurodivergent colleagues, and how we can continue to build a more inclusive workplace. 👐 We are proud of the inclusive environment we provide at Cashflows, where we support everyone to thrive. 💜 #ThisisND #people #inclusivity #diversity #cashflows

It is estimated that about 15 per cent of the population is neurodiverse in some way, which means that workplaces can benefit greatly from understanding and supporting this diverse group of employees. Neurodiversity refers to the natural variations in the human brain, including conditions such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and more. At work, neurodiverse individuals may face unique challenges in areas such as communication, social interaction, and sensory processing. However, with the right support and accommodations, they can make valuable contributions to the workplace and thrive in their careers. According to The Rise Journey, 21% of ERGs operate with $0 in their budget. Though today's companies are vocal about the importance they place upon fostering inclusive workplaces, there is a clear misalignment between organizations' words and actions. As corporate America grows more and more diverse, companies must invest in spaces for employees of different backgrounds to come together, learn from one another, and receive access to mentorship opportunities. If you're seeking a space where you can find #inclusion and #belonging or are looking to provide your employees with resources for #professionaldevelopment and networking, visit www.2045studio.com to learn more and apply.

Recently, I learned about the term "Neurodiversity," which refers to differences in the way people's brains work. The concept emphasizes that there is no "correct" way for the brain to function, and that there is a wide range of ways that people perceive and respond to the world. It encourages us to embrace and celebrate these differences. In today's world, companies that want to stay up-to-date should start studying neurodiversity and create a working environment that can include any kind of neurodivergent employee. By embracing neurodiversity, companies can unlock the full potential of their workforce and create a more inclusive and innovative workplace. Let's encourage companies to embrace neurodiversity and create a more diverse and inclusive work environment for all! #Neurodiversity #Inclusion #DiversityandInclusion PS thx Sotiria Nika for the enlightenment.
