Trends aren't for everybody... But I can say that these travel trends are approachable. As the mainstream hotel chains branch out into boutique options, it's taking a little more digging to find the right hotel for the right people in the right destination. I can help! Check out my host agency's HOT LIST for inspo

Japan's goal of attracting 60 million annual visitors by 2030 may seem a long way off, but the country is already facing the challenges of over-tourism. The famous omotenashi hospitality is being put to the test with recent examples from Kyoto and Mount Fuji. It's clear that a pricing strategy alone won't solve the problem. Japan needs to develop a business and location strategy that adapts to different types of tourism and guests. As the tradition of tourism in Japan continues to grow, it's essential to build a solid foundation for the future. #tourism #Japan #Kyoto

Dominate Japan's travel market 👉 I help brands & destinations to stop competing and stand out. Promoting national parks @ Parks & Japan. Founder @ Point North 🌏
One of my favourite features for the Japan national park Pocket Adventure range is the side quest. That's right, you get a side quest! 💎🗡 Where the main part of the adventure encourages visitors to find things, the side quest will encourage them to get more involved. A side quest might instruct you to: 👋 Talk to a local 🍣 Try a regional dish 🏂 Take part in an activity Each Pocket Adventure will have one side quest worth one ✨special✨ point, motivating visitors to complete them all. But more importantly, the side quests are designed to engage people in a way that benefits the national parks, encouraging visitors to spend money on local services or connect with the culture. There's no in-your-face promotion 🙉 Just an option presented in a very enticing wrapper 🍬 🗺 What side quest would you like to see in a Pocket Adventure? _________________________________ I help brands & destinations to attract inbound and domestic tourists in Japan.
