This opinion pertains to a specific location in Ontario, Canada, where one store has received countless negative reviews from dissatisfied customers. I used to support Sephora but no longer shop there frequently due to poor service and the store’s uncleanliness. It's partially the customers' fault for the uncleanliness, as they often meddle with testers and even steal products. The store is also constantly packed with rude customers. It's a very stressful experience visiting the store. The associates’ service has consistently been bad, and I’ve noticed that since the store opened, they haven’t hired many Asian ( I don't mean South Asians ), Caucasian, or Latino associates. The store manager only hires international students from India, Middle Eastern, and Black associates. Why hire so many international students from India? sorry to say but they lack customer service skills and knowledge. Where is the diversity when these three groups are the main hires? What happened to hiring Canadians? they need jobs too. I'm unsure if the CEO knows these issues, but I no longer visit Sephora, which used to be a special treat for me. Please look into these matters and come up with solutions.
