This new space marks a significant milestone in the evolution of our MEA team and the geo-expansion of SERB. The office will provide more room to grow and places us in the heart of Dubai’s thriving pharmaceutical and biotech community. A special thanks to Marwan Abdulaziz Janahi and his exceptional team for their support and vision in making this milestone possible. Marwan’s leadership and unwavering commitment to fostering Dubai’s life sciences sector have been instrumental in creating an environment where companies like ours can thrive. Our final Diversity & Inclusion Month guest speaker, Megan Reitz, spoke to us about her research on psychological safety. In her engaging and energetic talk, Megan offered deep insights and practical advice on how to listen more attentively, navigate power differences and be more intentional about who we listen to and why. Our Diversity & Inclusion month continues with a diversity lunch in our Wales facility, a culture quiz in the Philly office, and a theatre troupe performance on diverse perspectives in our Paris office. We also assembled some of our top female leaders for a panel discussion on breaking the glass ceiling, hosted by our Chief Human Resource Officer, Marie BOTIN. Special thanks to our panelists Ellen Dentten, Charlotte LITROWSKI, Alison McLean, Laura Parshad, and our CEO Vanessa Wolfeler for participating. 🎗️ September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month 🎗️   Did you know that approximately 400,000 children and adolescents are diagnosed with cancer each year worldwide? Sadly, only half of these cases are identified. This reality results in a staggering disparity in survival rates between high-income countries and those with fewer resources.   In countries like the UK, USA, and Europe, survival rates frequently exceed 80%. However, for children in low- and middle-income countries, the chance of survival drops dramatically to as low as 10%. Every day, over 1,000 young lives are lost to cancer. 🌍   Let’s join together this September to increase awareness, improve diagnosis, and make life-saving treatments available to all.
