Sharjeel Memon’s directive to take action against transporters charging extra fare from passengers Karachi: On the instructions of Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon, the campaign against transporters charging extra fare will begin on Monday, June 10. A letter has been sent to Commissioners, DIGs and Deputy Commissioners for action. The Transport Department has issued instructions for taking action against those who collect extra fare on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha and in this regard a letter has been sent to the IG Sindh, all Commissioners, DIGs, DCs on behalf of the Transport Department. Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has said that the Sindh government is committed to provide all kinds of relief to the people, those who disturb the passengers will not be forgiven and the transporters who increase the fixed fares and arbitrarily will not be forgiven. Strict action will be taken against the operators. He said that the aim of the campaign is to provide relief to the people and prevent any unnecessary financial pressure on the passengers. Sharjeel Inam Memon issued instructions that all RTIs, DRTIs should ensure provision of relief to public and concerned authorities should take immediate action against transporters on complaints of charging extra fare. #Sharjeel #Memons #directive #action #transporters #charging #extra #fare #passengers
