Great learning with great minds. It was a brilliant meeting with Abhinav Singh sir, Director, Digital Transformation, Ericsson, Sweden. Being a professor of digital marketing it was a great opportunity to me to learn the best global practices in digital transformation. We discussed about the three major aspects and every company need to focus on these area: 1. Constant training and upgradation of Human Resources on various technological tools and techniques 2. Investment in technology is a must 3. Gradual automation of processes will lead to productivity and profitability Big companies are already doing this now it is time for our MSME to start implementing digital transformation. #happynewyear2024 #digitaltransformation #ceo #hsshyam #thetalentpanda #shardauniversity

Students of Tomorrow - I Salute You! 🎓✨ Last Sunday, I had the honor of speaking to the new class of Business Administration and Information Systems at Copenhagen Business School. Instead of focusing on what Devoteam is, I decided to share some advice on how to thrive in their new academic journey. 📚 Here are the five continuums I shared: 1️⃣ Group vs. Individual Collaboration is key! Without a strong focus on group dynamics and success, getting through the program will be incredibly tough. Teamwork makes the dream work! 💪🤝 2️⃣ Answers vs. Questions Ask more questions! As knowledge workers, it’s vital to be curious. If you’re only chasing answers without reflection, your long-term value will decline. Stay inquisitive! ❓💡 3️⃣ Quick-wins vs. Deep-Thinking Deep-thinking is a must in today’s fast-paced world. Don’t be afraid to pause, reflect, and dive deep into challenges. 🧠⚡ 4️⃣ Process vs. Result Focus on the process. The learning happens within the journey, and if you trust the process, the results will follow! 🚀🎯 5️⃣ Rigor vs. Relevance Balance both! Build a solid foundation through rigorous theory, but always keep an eye on relevance. This balance will be both fulfilling and valuable to you and your future employers. ⚖️📈 With this advice, I’m excited to see how these talented students will shape the future! 💼👩🎓👨🎓 Wishing you all a good week ahead! 🌟 #LearningJourney #Teamwork #DeepThinking

👋 Meet Linde Wang, Design and Digital Products Consultant at Accenture Song and MiM graduate from ESMT Berlin. As part of our new-look “How To Get Into Digital Consulting” Guide, we asked students who have done our bootcamp for their own application insights and the things they love about their roles ... Key takeaways from Linde: 1️⃣ Improving the Digital Customer Experience is a major part of Digital Consulting projects 2️⃣ She identifies being knowledgeable and curious as well as building your personal brand (or in her terms "Form own opinion on the new digital trends, know one’s own “brand” and story, stay up to trend with consulting & Accenture topics") as key to interview success 3️⃣ She calls out Customer Experience, Digital Transformation, (Gen)AI, Communication and Project Management as being important skills. 👀 You can read our full guide by clicking the link in the first comment 👇 cc: Marcel Kalis

Participating in the Monash Innovation Guarantee, a three-week summer intensive, I engaged with an amazing group as well as scholars from diverse fields, all committed to addressing pressing real-world issues. This experience was altering in sharpening my knowledge for innovation. A standout moment was Keri Clarke's explanation of empathy. Admittedly, empathy had not previously captured my interest, but Keri's insightful explanation of the critical role of 'listening' deeply to consumers fundamentally redesigned my perspective on consumer relations and the core purpose of businesses. Keri's insights illuminated the transformative power of empathy in business practice, particularly during customer testing. She emphasised the significance of posing open-ended questions that delve into the consumer's experience, revealing not just feedback on the product but also a deeper understanding of the consumer as a person. This approach is encapsulated in the 'MOM test,' a methodology distinguishing between open and closed questions, reinforcing the value of inquiries that probe into consumers' thoughts, feelings, and challenges. Closed-ended questions, such as "Do you like my product?" tend to end conversations and undermine the valuable customer insights that are crucial during the prototyping phase. Open-ended questions, on the other hand, invite knowledge and unearth the minute details that could be pivotal for product refinement. Keri's speech was transformative, not just in content but in its practical applications. It has built me up with knowledge to carry forward into the real world, well beyond the Monash Innovation Guarantee. My immediate goal is to participate in an FMAA (Financial Management Association of Australia) meeting within the next six months. Keri's insights shed light on my own conversational challenges, particularly my tendency to ask closed questions, which limited my understanding of the subject and the person I'm engaging with. Now, I recognise the importance of fostering deeper connections, understanding people's lives, their struggles, and how this approach can enrich both personal interactions and professional endeavours. Using these conversational skills will help me build valuable relationships as I continue to grow and build my professional relationships up at the meeting. Finally, I would like to thank the wonderful Susie Ho and Rosa Martorana and the guest speakers that made all of this possible and for sharing their valuable experiences as well as their ideas and concepts that change the way that I think today. #MIG2024 #INNOVATION #EMPATHY

Is your skillset future-ready? This week I had the honor of joining the panel for SkillsFuture Singapore’s Training and Adult Learning Conference 2024. SkillsFuture Singapore is an organization that advocates a tech-driven, people-first approach to professional development for the future workplace. Joined by Aslam S., Carolyn Neo, and Edwin Tan, we explored the themes of skill aggregation, application, and recognition. I spoke about “skills-based” hiring, the importance of adapting to a growth mindset, and encouraging regular upskilling and reskilling your workforce to keep pace with the ever-changing global landscape. According to Deloitte research, by 2030 there will be a global shortage of over 1M skilled workers. To prepare ourselves for tomorrow, we need to do the work today. As I discuss in SkillsFuture’s 2023/2024 report on "Skills Demand for the Future Economy", as technological advancements move us away from traditional fixed mindsets, the definition of what skills are needed to thrive in your career journey has evolved. Now, besides technical skills, experience, transferable skills, as well as the desire to learn and develop as an individual and a team member are critical components to stay relevant and competitive in the labor market. At Micron Technology, we empower our team members to achieve fulfilling careers through our Empowered Careers program. This allows them to take ownership of their learning process, as well as partner with leaders and peers to support their growth and development. Our Career Conversations provide a platform for team members to identify growth opportunities and build the skills they need to succeed. With dedication, hard work, and the right support, every team member can acquire new skills and achieve their career goals. How are you developing your skills for tomorrow? #ProfessionalDevelopment #Leadership #MicronTechnology #SkillsFutureSingapore
