Continuing the conversation about staff networks and allyship… wearing your rainbow lanyard is more than a fashion statement (it is much prettier than the boring plain ones too)! 🌈 They actually are a visible signal to your colleagues and a powerful gesture that you are an ally. It also is important for organisations to offer rainbow lanyards to show and demonstrate they are inclusive employers. The rainbow lanyard demonstrates you are a colleague who is open and safe for LGBTQ+ colleagues. Who is an ally and showing visible support towards this. It’s giving permission for colleagues to be themselves with you. It can also demonstrate an understanding of hardship for the community and that you are willing to make a stand with and for them. It might seem like a small gesture but it makes a huge difference. Wear your rainbow lanyards with PRIDE 🌈 #rainbowlanyard #diversity #inclusion #lgbtqia #lgbt #staffnetworks
