When it comes to filter media, all belt filters are far from created equal, interchangeable, or equivalent. One of our customers recently purchased two belt presses from a well-known OEM. They supplied “regular” press belts with the capital equipment purchase.   We have been providing the client with press belts since 2012. The “regular” press belts did not receive the performance results that they received with our press belts.   In a side-by-side comparison, NFM® Performance Red Press Belts significantly outperformed the “regular” press belts, achieving much better cake results. 2000 advanced EPS Pre-expander Machine (Batch type with accuracy density) Accurate EPS Pre-expander Machine, the special device for EPS expansion, is controlled by PLC and touch screen. It is fully automatic with accurate density control and fast cycle time. The purpose of pre-expansion is to produce EPS raw material to the desired density. During pre-expansion, the EPS foam are fed to a vessel containing an agitator and controlled by steam and air supplies, this vessel is called EPS Pre-expander machine, or EPS Batch Pre-expander. The EPS foam density is controlled by temperature and pressure. The diameter of the particles increases while the density of the resin decreases. Sonderhoff FERMAPOR K31 is a 2-component polyurethane sealing foam which will be compressed when the filter is built in. The foam gasket compensates for component tolerances during sealing and thus prevents air drawn in from outside from flowing past the filter unfiltered due to possible leakage.
