Meanwhile, Getnet Chile, participated in #ExpoMercadoPublico, introducing our partnership with Conectados to deliver social benefits. Additionally, Getnet Uruguay announced a strategic alliance with GSoft to enhance payment experiences for clients, integrating Getnet’s POS with GSoft’s system, Caja Express. Finally, Getnet participated in the global Santander Multinational Meeting, where our leaders discussed the future of payments and Getnet's role in providing payments solutions. Crédit Agricole and Worldline unveil CAWL, the name of their joint venture, with a strategy focused on combining service and proximity to provide merchants with payment services tailored to the unique needs of their sectors. CAWL, the new payment services brand for merchants in France, embodies the combination of Worldline's technological expertise and offerings and services with Crédit Agricole Group’s commercial performance and distribution power. Discover Financial Services loses all merchants in Australia. US Discover card holders were able to access the Diners Club International merchant base here including airlines such as Qantas, major hotels, rental cars companies and big retailers. NAB purchased the Citi retail business in 2022 and got Diners as part of the deal and has decided to shut it down despite charge cards growing at 20% plus. There was a reciprocal arrangement whereby Diners Australia cardholders could use their card at US Discover merchants who's number dwarf American Express Diners club Australia cardholders were able to access RuPay India, BC Card Korea, JCB／株式会社ジェーシービー Japan and more. Visa has awarded Safaricom PLC a payment facilitator certificate, marking a pivotal step in their ongoing collaboration. This agreement aims to enhance Safaricom's merchant ecosystem by expanding payment acceptance options, including the introduction of card payments that support all card networks through Visa's CyberSource Payment Gateway. The partnership, which began with the launch of the M-PESA GlobalPay Virtual Visa Card in June 2022, will now enable Safaricom merchants to offer a broader range of payment options, utilizing Visa's payment technology to service customers more efficiently and securely.
