An amazing event day at #ltst24! We had a great panel discussion with Johann 'Hansi' Hansmann (Hans(wo)men Group), Gabriele Tatzberger (Wirtschaftsagentur Wien), Anisah Osman Britton MBE (WVC:E) and Ghislain Terrier (European Investment Fund (EIF)) who shared insightful experiences and facts about the state of fundraising and tech in Europe. Many thanks to all of you!❤️ A few things we learned during the panel discussion: 💡VCs are going through turbulent times, with existing portfolios needing to be kept alive and stable while the cost of capital continues to rise and the economic downturn continues. 🤝Not every startup is a VC case nor needs VC funding; alternative financing options, such as family offices and government support, can be considered to grow your startup successfully. 👩💻Although the fundraising market is in a turbulent state, it is still a good time to start your business and secure early-stage funding, as investment is available at this stage and you have the assets (tenacity and idea) to take it forward. Virtual Bidmanager company Altura announces raising a seed round of 3 million Euros. Altura is on a mission with the full-cycle bidmanagement system to help companies save time and focus on what matters: winning more tenders and RFXs.
